This is very enjoyable to me to use. It is simple, no need to charge or plug in, and it just works with your weight. Its easy for me to put anywhere in the house and use it, even with minimal space, and if you really go down all the way on it and back up, you get tired pretty quickly. I am not sure of the benefits of weight loss for it, but I was initially getting it for help with movement to get my legs working. There's a small display with a button and numbers but I don't use it. I haven't tried the bands yet since I already have a band workout I do on the doorway but if it'll help me burn more calories, I might give it a try. The bands came in looking like the paint on it was chipping and I was worried they might snap but after pulling them a bit, they felt strong and good. I like the pad part of this better than others as it's smoother and less rough for me if I wear different shoes. I am a small petite person too, and the size is good and plenty of space for my feet on the steppers. I used this on a very thin carpeted rug on a hard wood floor and the materials seem very good quality.

I have a standing desk in the office and use a hybrid schedule. I was looking for something nice and quiet that I could use to still get cardio in at my desk/cubicle and not bother others. This is a good option. I am not using the bands very much as I have actual work to do. That said they do add a nice steady state resistance when I want to use this on break and actually put them in my hands. After 2 months of use nobody has complained about any noise or noticed beyond me suddenly appearing taller than usual (my head is already above the cubicles at 5' 11" as in my office the walls are 5' 8")My only real complaint is the red button does not reset the computer step count. maybe mine is broken, but the only way to reset the step count is removing the battery. This is easily accomplished with just pulling out the computer with your hand, just odd. Also of note if you have big feet the pads are a bit small. I am a size 14 and as you can see while I can use it the outside of my shoe is over the ridges. My wife with a woman's size 9 does not have this problem when she tried it. Still does not effect my workout, just makes my feet feel a little less secure on there, but no slippage so far so not an issue.Overall a great way to increase daily step count and can get a good workout in zone 2 if you give it a good dedicated push.

This is the second stepper I’ve purchased, but the first from this manufacturer. On day one I noticed that this one is more narrow than the other; the base felt a bit more unstable and my feet felt very close together. Eventually I got used to it.I use the equipment 3-5 times weekly and usually step for 60-75 minutes. I typically step in 15 min intervals to give the equipment some time to cool down. Over time I noticed pain in my right hip joint and a weird knot in my left shin. I had never had these issues previously, but I switched back to the other stepper and they have gone away. Obviously I can’t “prove†the issues are from this stepper, but I won’t be using it anymore.

This is good exercise for anyone. When I hurt my knee, it actually was great physical therapy for me. Using the armbands has helped my arms to get stronger. Definitely recommend.

My initial impression on unpacking this mini stepper was that it seems very heavy duty. The literature included in the package gave good safety advice; the translation to english was not the best, but good enough to get the jist. The instructions for use, however, were not good; they were written in very broken English and there were no detailed instructions on how to actually use the machine. There is a video on the product page, but that was not super helpful either.Another concern I had is that if this mini stepper is used on carpet, it is not very stable. There is also no way to adjust the tension to change the intensity of the workout, so I feel that this mini stepper is a good workout option for somebody that is already somewhat fit. That said, you WILL get a workout with this mini stepper machine and it is nice and compact for smaller spaces.

This stepper came out of the box ready to go, no set-up required and it was easy to just step right on without having to figure out how things work. I don't intend to use the resistance bands, but they are there to add in an arm workout and they're easy to attach. I love the mat it comes with as it makes using it better on hardwood floors which is where I have mine. The basic resistance it has is great for anyone, beginner or otherwise. The counter has multiple things on it to track (time, calories, step count), I only wish it had come with instructions on how to reset (if needed). I think this is a great little stepper, and it'll be nice to use in the winter when outside walking isn't so fun.

Even though it’s a small package, it’s got a strong punch. This has been a great workout. It’s easy to store under the bed in a corner. I’ve taken it to work with me and use it in my office. It even comes with Resistance bands. Easy to use I suggest you get it

It's very easy to use as a stepper. My partner took it out of the box, and I stepped on and started walking. It has no instructions for attaching the resistance bands, and since it came with a small wrench, I thought it would be complicated. No - they just clip on.The tiny booklet included with the unit do not explain how to set or reset the electronic counter. I haven't figured it out, so I just walk until I'm out of breath and don't worry about the count. The lack of helpful instructions is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5.It's a nice little stair-stepper if you don't have a lot of room but need to get in some exercise at home.
