I have ordered this part several times for my vehicle and was always disappointed with its lifespan. Turns out it is a flaw in the vehicle system. Works great now that the vehicle problem has been addressed.

Part was as described. By the way to save you some time, the knobs pull right off on your 05 Santa fe AC controls. You don't need to separate the white and black plastic housing from each other. Just remember the fan switch knob and unscrew the single screw holding the old switch in place. Easy.

I bought this part for my daughter's 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe and it was a perfect fit and worked out great. I would recommend this item.

Every year we go thru this with the 2005 Santa Fe. The blower switch replaced by the dealership was over $300. After the second one via the dealership out of pocket I now buy these and they work.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe has a recurring issue with these switches as they do not last more than 90-120 days before failing due to carbon build-up on the terminals...nothing wrong with the part and Hyundai is aware of this issue but chooses to shrug their collective shoulders at it

I only rated the part as three stars. As far as design it should be zero stars. The replacement part is an exact replica of the original, which makes it five stars. I couldn't bring myself to give it the full rating, so I compromised on three. The switch works as intended. I recommend it as a replacement (which you WILL have to do every one to two years). Good Luck!
