Fit nice. Quality looks decent. Worked out of the box, which is expected but there’s a ton of junk Chinese sensors out there on the market.

So I have a 94 F 150 that’s been giving me fits. It was back firing extremely bad and wouldn’t run at all at times after fouling out my plugs. I literally went down every rabbit hole chasing the problem I was having. Changed every possible thing that has to do with air, fuel, and spark with no luck whatsoever. Spent several hundred dollars throwing parts at this with no results. Recently took it to a shop and they convinced me my ECM was the problem. Cost me 700 for parts and labor and the truck still wasn’t running correct. Needles to say I wasn’t very happy after that. Finally I found a forum that lead to me thinking possibly it could be your thermostat sensor. Almost seemed unlikely but after trying everything else with no luck I threw fifteen bucks and decided to try this. Lo and behold this indeed fixed my problem. Totally mind blown by this and wish I’d figured this out well over a thousand dollars ago. Needless to say it could be your problem and it could not but man fifteen bucks well spent. Not sure how long this part may last but it’s a huge relief knowing something so simple fixed a huge headache and problem. Great buy just a little late.

Easy to replace, GET A SOCKET. Make sure it is deep enough to not bind on the plastic connector on the back. If you are having a high Idle on start, or any other goofy idle issues right after starting, and feel like "just throwing parts at it" start with this. Especially if you've already checked all the basics, vacuum leaks, pulling codes, cap and rotor, plugs, fuel pressure, tps, ect ect. This sensor is very important in controlling fuel injector pulse at idle and initial start, if it is inaccurate, stuck, disconnected, it will cause problems. 10 minutes and ~20$, this corrected my idle. Also if you are new to these old cars/trucks, it is completely normal for it to idle high on start for a minute then idle down. Any problems with this sensor and it can stay in high idle, or become very erratic/hunt up and down.

it caused my fan to kick on and ran better but after a day it went out and caused my motor to heat up and end up having to buy it at oreilys and now it’s back to good

This is the correct coolant sensor for a 93 Ford Ranger with a 3.0 V6. Fixed the issues with high idle and stalling.

my gauge on instrument cluster was reading way lower than it should. I replaced this and now gauge reads correctly
