Switch was a little tricky to put in you have to drop the steering column to get it in correctly but no big thing. Nothing to do with the actual switch just the way that GM designed the vehicle. After we put it in start it up first crank. Excellent part would recommend it anytime.

This fixed my ignition issues in my XJ. It is a major PITA to install and get properly adjusted, but worth it. It's not the parts fault, I blame Jeep for that one. I even got a bonus, I now have a working accessory position in my ride.That hadn't worked for as long as I have owned this Jeep.

Update: I ordered another one of these but this time for my 1982 corvette with telescopic/tilt wheel. I received an empty box LOL! No tears in the unopened package either. Sent by the amazon fulfillment center. Way to go amazon. Now I won't get my item until next week. Again way to go amazon!! Someone was hired to do one thing. Epic fail.Worked perfect for my 1977 CJ5 WITH TILT. The non tilt is a different style. Makes sure you get the right one TILT OR NON TILT. This will fit multiple years. Spring return is tight and it works great. 100% solid buy for TILT column.
