Decent quality. I use these to file laminates when re-facing cabinets. Trying to get as much life out of an expensive file is not worth it when I can break out a brand new economical file like this one. Yes, I have a file card that I use about every 15 minutes but it does not make a file as good as new.

These big, powerful files are superb for shaping and sharpening an axe head, in a hurry, without using power tools. I will buy more without hesitation. Easier to use than smaller files, and definitely worth the extra couple of bucks.

I have sharpened mower blades many times in the past using a bench grinder, but it was always a hassle to get the edges right. This file worked much faster and did the job perfectly. It really bites the steel and makes removal easy. Easy to clean with a file brush too. Definitely would buy one again.

They were flat spots of file were the cutting edges were missing. It appears they come off an assembly line mingled with other files (rubbing against other files). I hate to admit it but bought files at Harbor Freight that were better than these.

As a hobby, I refurbish antique hand tools. The other day I put this file to work reprofiling a tempered axe bit, and it worked like a charm. Other less expensive files I have used to do the same type of work dont cut as well, and after a short time the teeth go dull. This ones a champ and wont leave you hanging when you need a file the most.
