First off, these are a Chinese version of Starrett. They are the global series of Starrett. That being said, they still seem to have to Starrett quality. I have absolutely no complaints of this tool or the Starrett caliper I bought that is also a global series. Both still seem to have the Starrett quality.

This is falsely advertised.This is a Chinese made tool that does not reflectsStarrett quality.It's movements are twitchy and jumpy unlike the good jeweled iindicators made by Starrett, Mitutoyo, and Brown and Sharp.I would recommend not wasting your money on this and i wish i could get a refund.

I am so disappointed in Starrett. I bought this, dial caliper, and dial indicator. All have had to be sent back to be repaired or replaced. I will never buy from Starrett again.
