Starrett stuff is brilliant. Expensive, but worth it. All of their tools are for a lifetime of use, and to be handed down to children and beyond.

These are definitely high quality, but I’m not sure they are worth the cost. They adjust a little more smoothly than my $12 dividers, but once adjusted I don’t think they actually perform any better. I have no criticism of the product or QC. I just don’t think I needed dividers this nice. I should have saved the money. I usually aspire to the buy-once-cry-once philosophy, and I can usually appreciate the quality offered by better tools. But I don’t see it with these.

This works. It does more than what you would expect. This tool exceeds any expectations you have. It has Starrett quality. I tried a cheaper product and had to return it. It did not even perform the basic functions. Save the hassle and buy this to start with. You will be very happy with it.

I normally always buy Starrett tools and I have plenty of them but this divider disappoints me the most. The first one I ordered had a crooked leg so the point ends didn't pair well. The replacement I received was a little better but the round holder on top that holds the legs was completely bend and off center. Unacceptable for such a quality brand name and price. I just decided to send it back and stop my quest for a new divider. Got a vintage set from Starrett that's way and above fit and finish compared to the new one. They don't make them as they used to anymore, sadly, although I have purchased some new and recent Starrett tools that are perfect. I guess it's the consistency that's lacking and QC.

High-quality tool. Thin tips allow greater precision but are not suitable if you need/like leaving deep marks in your material.

El divisor es muy robusto y muy bien fabricado. Las superficies están muy bien acabadas y el moleteado de la tuerca es muy agradable. Una herramienta cara pero de calidad.
