Bought this USB 3.1/3.2 card to connect a TerraMaster D4-300 to my PC for Plex storage. It's working great. Installed the card without issue, Windows 10 Pro saw it correctly. Connected the TerraMaster with installed X16 14TB drives and everything came up without any effort on my part. It just worked.

At first it was great, capable of USB transfers and almost ludicrous speed. I had two Anker USB 8-port hubs plugged into the with 16 total USB (self powered) drives plugged into those and was able to achieve an aggregate transfer speed of over 1100 MB/s writing into a 16 Gb/s FC disk array.I used it for one project and didn't come back to it for several months. When I tried it again today it was just dead. Does not even show up on lspci. It's like it's not even there. Really poor QC on this one.

I needed more USB ports for my Dell PowerEdge R630 to passthrough USB devices to VMware ESXi 8.0. This worked without issue and didn't need any configuration in the BIOS or need any special drivers for ESXi for this to work. It just worked.

Wasn't thrilled that the USB card didn't come with any sort of power connections to / for USB 3.0 power requirements. This wasn't documented (as I remember) It would've been very helpful to know this up front. Pressed for time, ordering the required cabling wasn't an option for me. I ended up having to cutting up a PC power supply and make the cables myself. This did not make my face smile.This USB adapter went into a Windows 7 HP Z400 series computer. This computer is dedicated to legacy medical equipment with supporting hardware inside the Z400. Moving away from Windows 7 isn't an option.That being said, there was a bit if fiddling and research in order to get the Windows 7 drivers installed on this legacy bit of kit. Once the right drivers were located and installed. It's been working flawlessly.

This item saved me from a complete system upgrade. All I wanted was faster USB speed for making system images and data backups!EZ Install and setup was instant by my system! Great product and recommend this device!

I was frustrated by how slow my usb3.0 hard drives were with other usb3 cards. this one has a feature called UASP which evidently was the missing ingredient. I went from 100% utilization of the drive but 40mbytes/second transfer rate with my previous non-UASP cards to 64% utilization and 100mbytes/second transfer!FYI this product is advertised by the vendor to support server OS like server 2016, where I found that windows had the driver for it already and there was no need to fuss with any drivers from the vendor web site.planning to buy another for my other server. Hooray for UASP!!!!!

Jag köpte det här PCI-USB-kortet för att minska jitter/brus som kan läcka till min externa ljudomvandlare och försämra spelad ljudkvalitet. Det kär USB-kortet har två ställen att ta strömmen ifrån - moderkortet (PCIe-bus) och en SATA-strömkabel som går direkt från adaptern, vilket jag (förhoppningsvis inte naivt) hoppas ge mindre jitter/brus än om kortet bara tog ström från moderkortet där processorn med sina och massa andra halvledare jobbar och skapar massor med harmonisk förvrängning. Dessvärre har jag ingen oscilloskop att mäta förvrängningen (verifiera effekten), så i det här läget är min uppfattning baserad på en teoretisk modell snarare än mätdata - så förstå recensionens begränsning du som läser det här. :)

Funktioniert ohne Treibersucherrei und liefert eine ordentliche Geschwindigkeit. Ob es tatsächlich 10 GBit sind, kann ich mangels schneller Testhardware nicht beurteilen. Immerhin ist das Ganze stabil, auch unter stundenlanger Dauerlast mit angeschlossener externer Platte.Ergänzung: der Controller läuft nun seit Erwerb unter Windows 10 und Linux (Debian 12), ohne dass es bisher irgendwelche Probleme gab. Die Maximalgeschwindigkeit kann ich jetzt zwar leider nicht messen, aber einen Turm mit 4x 3.5"-Platten bedient der Controller problemlos, auch bei mehreren paralleln Datenübertragungsstreams.
