Not waterproof! This is a good value for indoor use. I built a DC high voltage panel inside this and it worked out great. Fire resistant steel, key lock, removable back panel complete with wall hanging brackets.

It was easy to install, weather proof and sturdy. Only wish the lock was more secure.

Overall the box is better than expected, very sturdy and the paint job is excellent. It could be made slightly more weatherproof with a better door gasket but for the most part that's being a bit of a nitpick. My only complaints are that the door hinges and kinda cheap and welding of internal studs and brackets is quite poor; high-school welding 101 at best.

What does it say about my life that the highlight of my day is receiving an Electrical Enclosure Box?Perfectly made. Has all the hardware. Panel comes out easily to install Din Rails, breakers etc. No knockouts but it has a 2 x 4 detachable plate so you can drill however many you want, No sharp edges, Easy to drill. Great Kob.

The box was made from the softest ferrous material I have ever seen. Some steel alloy that is very thin and easy to bend (more like aluminum than steel). I dented the front by just dropping a standard screwdriver on it. Mounting tabs are about 4mils thick and provided "ears" with keyhole slots to attach to the back of the box. There are some strange brackets on the inside (powder coating hangers perhaps?) Door is not removable. A lock in the door handle with keys is laughable. A screwdriver will open it. Looks ok. Comes with a protective earthing stud and wire inside. Tightening the interior plate creates bends in the back. Its usable but certainly not a NEMA box.

Really poor quality. Seams are bad . Rusted in corners. Missing screws. Weatherstrip is junk. Even the door lock is mounted crooked.It’s probably a return for me….but needed quickly.

Based on other reviews and the product I received, I feel as if the enclosures sold here are factory seconds. The packaging arrived in perfect condition, however, the actual enclosure had several dings, dents and chips in the finish as well as welding deficiencies. Mine also had an appalling door seal, upside down welded hinges and screw holes that are either tapped incorrectly or have been powder coated and need to be chased with a tap. Should have spent the extra $20 for the Vevor brand.

Needed a basic steal box to lock my car chargers into.The box is not waterproof at all, the weld and overall build quality is very poor, mig wire was still sticking out of welds. But the box works for what I required. Price is higher then it deserves but it is still cheaper then the actual nema 4 boxes that are available. I needed a cheap box to customize so these details did not dissuade me, also my placement won't get rained on.I also modified to add additional wire holes and painted the box black to match my exterior trim.
