Not quite as pictured, but far better than anticipated. It seems to be very high quality, very robust and versatile. The jaws can be taken out and reversed, as well as adjusted independent of each other. Looking forward to trying it out.

Good deal on the part. Decent tolerance from the OD of the chuck to the center alignment hole was only .001" off. Since its a fully adjustable 4 jaw that doesn't matter much. Works good, I'd recommend this part.

The chuck I received was not the one I ordered!I complained so the sent another chuck I didn’t order.I now have 2 chucks I don’t want.Looks like I will have to keep both!Both chucks are the same.The jaws fit loosely in the chuck.l have put a back plate on one and used it.It works but not well!

Nice little chuck for the money! Perfect size for my 9x20 lathe, had to make a back plate but that was no big deal, the chuck is smooth and pretty legit! I can get my parts on center within .0005" pretty consistently

Unfortunately or fortunately I'm not sure yet the product that I received was not the product that was picture I received a 6 inch Chuck that had through bolts attaching the chuck also I did not receive a chuck wrench with it. So although I haven't mounted it and tried it yet one thing is for sure your mileage may vary when ordering

Like most Chinese manufactured products that are prone to rusting this chuck came literally swimming in oil with some grit thrown in for good measure so you will have to clean it before you can use it. When you remove the jaws for cleaning be very very careful as they have razor edges that will have to be deburred unless you like bleeding. Other than those two items, it is a good solid unit for the money. There is a depression on the rear of the chuck that measures about 2.56" by .25" deep which is suitable for registering on a backing plate. Jaws work smoothly in and out. I would not hesitate to buy again.

For what one pays for these things they are great value. Certainly they are not even close in quality to something made in Poland or US but they do cost 6 to 10 times less as well. Outside of usual not deburring the main issue I have is that the part does not seem to be held in the jaws evenly - what I mean is that if I put a shaft into it, and zero it at one end it will not hold a zero at the other end. Shaft is precision ground. This makes it an issue when dealing with longer precision parts. Certainly one needs a better chuck for precision work - even with 4 jaws.
