I drilled about 70 3†holes in hardwood on my lathe to turn measuring cups and spoons, pens, rippers etc. The bit cut quickly, accurately, and with no rip outs.The box said made in China , no great surprise , but I have purchased bits made in Austria and England , and at 4-5 times the price. These cut as well.Very pleased

Purchased a 5/32" Steelex HSS Brad Point Bit as an extra for pre-drilling screw holes in woodworking. The bit is straight and sharp, and the brad point is well centered. The bit drills round holes with clean sharp edges. So far the bit seems to be strong and reliable.

We needed a strong and reliable drill bit for some Ipe posts we were prepping for cable. Had no trouble at all, easier to order it on Amazon than to try to find it at a hardware store. Normally we give the local stores the business but we needed it and Amazon had it. The project we were working on was quite remote so going to the local hardware store was 20 miles one way to. Had bit at our doorstep in 2 days

I bought this to replace one that came with a ez-lok threaded insert kit. The one they include has a tip-point with pretty bad run-out that was causing me some accuracy problems when used in a drill press. I took a chance on this bit and it did not disappoint. Straight, sharp, and so far - durable.

Pleasantly surprised when I drilled into an acacia countertop (hardwood), the weight of the hand drill alone was enough to get into the wood like it was butter.
