Your cart is empty. Decades ago, car engine compartments had enough room that changing a battery was simple as long as you had the strength to lift the battery. Times have changed however, and often there's little more than the space the battery needs to barely fit for you to work in when changing a battery. To make the job easier, even in small spaces, is the STEELMAN 42013 Battery Carrying Strap. The twin fold design will work on most types of batteries whether they have top or side mounted terminals and the ends are marked and sized to accurately fit positive and negative terminals. The plastic strap itself is acid resistant and nonconductive and its 14-inch length gives your hands plenty of room to grip, even on the largest of batteries. The side mounting screws also allow the strap to double as a charging adapter allowing the same type of clamps used on top post terminals to be used on your side terminal battery.

We have several vehicles all with different battery terminal formats. I had an old battery strap that worked for batteries with terminals on top but it got misplaced a while back. It didn't work for my truck's battery side terminals anyway. I found this solution at a great price and used it to remove and replace two batteries in a matter of a couple of weeks. Just what I needed to lift the battery out of the vehicles.

I was in need of a barrery carrier.For the most part, this item did the job.However, the holes for the terminals seem to be tapered so if you try to lift the battery with this in the wrong position, it won't fit. When you do get it right, you have to sort of wiggle the holes over the terminals.I think if they made the holes about 1/2mm larger, this would be much easier to use.ThanksAU//(~_~)

With it, you only need one. It will handle both top and side post batteries. Also, it takes up very little space, regardless if you keep it hanging on the wall, in a tool box or in the trunk of a car.

I have yet to use it nut looks exactly what I wanted. I have an older rubber type, but it doesn't handle lawn tractor style batteries. I'm quite sure that this one will !

I’m getting older and the new batteries are gaining weight. This carrier is just what I need to more safely remove and replace batteries. Would recommend.

The pos ring does not fit the pos terminal on two different batteries. I contacted Steelman and they just wasted my time. How can Amazon allow venders to sell sub par products at the expense of its customers. Huge fail all the way around.Very disappointed customer.
