This is one of the best spoons in my box. It swims just like a Kastmaster, great at low speed and up to 1.9 mph without spinning. Awesome lure for trout trolling. 😊

Got my first king salmon of these lures and then a 2nd one great action on these wish hooks were beefier with 10lb salmon and light drag they almost want to bend still. I'd get 1oz for kings and steelhead I'd get these 1/2 ones. Wish they were cheaper.

This is too big for trout. I've used it successfully for large smallmouth bass so far. It has a very gently motion and is good for slow retrieve. I can't say it is any better than other spoon-type lures - the catch rate seems to be about the same as with a similarly-sized Krocodile spoon. I have not yet used it for saltwater, but it might be perfect for targeting west coast calico bass in the kelp beds.. The trailing chain is interesting - it gives it a very durable "flow" that you'd normally get from a feather or silicone skirt, but this will last a lot longer.
