I bought a couple of these for my grandkids to use on their swim goggles. The designs are attractive, but the most important thing is that it makes it SO much easier for the kids to put the goggles on and take them off without pulling their hair or getting their hair caught or twisted up in the straps. My granddaughter has curly hair and strands are always escaping the ponytails and her hair easily gets tangled and a little frizzy. The strap wraps really help prevent entanglement and tears. My grandson is also extremely sensitive to having his hair pulled (even with normal combing or brushing) and the strap wraps are a must for him.The one negative is that the wraps aren’t easy to put on. You have to remove one end of the goggle strap and try to thread it through the wrap. It’s a bit challenging threading rubber or silicone straps through neoprene. I have some other wraps that are specifically made for masks (with wider straps) and that open all along the edge and close with Velcro. Those are really easy to put on and take off the masks. I have a couple of those and although they work, they are actually too wide and bulky for swim goggles. It would be ideal to have these perfectly sized wraps for goggles use that system.

This was a lifesaver. I was struggling with the rubber strap ripping my hair out every time I went snorkeling/freediving and so I ordered this and it completely fixed the issue! I do recommend making sure your mask is tighter than you think it should be. While I was snorkeling in the ocean I got it by a wave from behind and it took my mask with it. I just tightened it tighter and it never happened again.

I purchased some Cressi mask strap covers for my kid's snorkel facemasks. It has helped- especially if you have girls with long hair to not get caught when putting on or taking off the facemask. I decided to get one for myself, but wanted more design flair for my mask strap. You will have to remove one side strap to install the cover (make sure the design is the right side up) and pull it to the center back strap. After that, reattach the removed strap back onto the facemask and adjust the tightness to your comfort level. This orange strap cover fit the bill and the blue fish matched my blue facemask well. Easy to install and as a bonus- this mask strap is reversible if you wanted a solid color instead of the bright orange and blue fish showing. Basically- two mask straps in one!
