Bought the Streamlight 69267 TLR -HL 1000 Flat Dark Earth Brown for my CANiK TTI COMBAT. The Fit and Function is exactly what I was looking for. The insert I used that Streamlight gives you was P320 which BROUGHT it the closest to the trigger guard. The Switch functions are what I was looking for my application. .Streamlight 69267 TLR-1000-Weapon Mounted Light is a rugged Rail Light. Easy to operate and the light is really bright, extremely bright. The Flat Dark Earth Brown Streamlight Matches the BRONZE COLOR EXTENSION magazine from CANiK ." Perfect Combo"

This unit comes with the Glock spacer installed and it was a perfect fit for my M&P9 M2.0 5 inch in FDE with that spacer. I wanted the activation tabs to be on either side of the trigger guard without poking out into it and the fit was outstanding. The activation tabs are 1/32 of an inch from being even with the inside of the trigger guard which means that they are easy to access with either hand and unobtrusive to the trigger finger. The end of the light is within 1/16 of an inch from being even with the end of the 5" barrel and exactly even with the end of the slide. There are 5 other spacer inserts if you want yours mounted closer or further away, but the Glock one was perfect for my gun. The "FDE" color on this item is more of a dirty gold than FDE, but the color matching is closer than the M&P slide to it's grip and the color is not as important as the fit and function. This item is easy to activate and unlike the opinions of some people, it is not easy to accidentally actuate. If you're one of the people that juts their support hand thumb out forward along the side of a pistol's slide, then I imagine any weapon mounted light would have trouble with inadvertent activation, but I am not one of those people. Personally, my left thumb rides on top of my right one, providing extra support and staying out of the way. The hot spot and spill on this light are better than my Elzetta Bravo. From 10ft away, the spill can illuminate all of a 15 ft wall in front of me with a 48-60" hot spot in the center. I have programmed out the strobe feature on mine (10 clicks downwards on left side) because the momentary-on function is what I would mainly use in a self-defense scenario and I don't want to accidentally strobe. This is definitely a 5-star item and a great deal for the price. (same goes for the gun @ $350)Pictures are of the M&P9 M2.0 5 inch FDE with attached TLR-1 HL also in FDE with the Glock spacer.

Fits my FN 509 Midsize Tactical perfectly. Very durable, bright, & easily flipped on/off with trigger finger or support hand thumb. Will help with muzzle rise as well. Very happy with purchase.

These have been around forever, so you can read a hundred reviews on the TLR-1 HL. I own four or five of them, and a couple of Surefire X-300's, and a Modlite, and HAD a couple of Olights. These are better than any Olight you will ever own, for 25.00 more. Spend the extra 25.00. They are almost half the price of a X-300, and almost as robust. They are durable as hell, I have thousands upon thousands of rounds down with a TLR-1 mounted, and never a single issue. Thrown in the mud, on the desert floor, and on concrete. For the money, Streamlight is hard to beat.

Small, blinding, easy to use. Batteries are tricky to figure out at first due to a weird hinge door setup, like a watch clasp. Really expensive, but has second kind of cool factor and a name you can trust

The TLR1-HL has 1000 lumens of blinding white light, a relatively tight hot spot for quick target identification and plenty of throw for reaching out longer distances or through other light "barriers". (Shining from a dark room, through a lighted room, into another dark area, for example) In a pinch, you can even use the centre of the light beam for a rough sighting device and put rounds on target very rapidly. Controls are instinctive for right and left-handed users. Two batteries give it a decent run time for the power. The FDE Brown is a rich Bronze / Brown colour that pairs nicely with Coyote / FDE / Olive Drab gear. The bezel protrudes just enough past the front of the muzzle that it might keep your firearm in battery / in action during contact firing scenarios. I have owned and practiced with many Streamlight and SureFire lights over the last 18 years. If I was going to war or into an Emergency Response unit of metro police tomorrow, I may choose the SureFire over the Streamlight due to ruggedness / reliability - the SureFire has an edge there. Surefire's more extended, crenulated bezel would be better for contact situations as well. Having stated that - I can confidently recommend the STREAMLIGHT TLR1-HL It does the job well and for far less money than the equivalent SureFire. Buy with confidence.

It fits the M&P 9 2.0 nicely and the color is a perfect match with the FDE
