It fit my Oster bread maker, and when I did the research, the company providing the information was uncertain if this kneader would work on my particular model, but also stated that in might work as well, for a whopping $5.00 or $6.00, I took a change and it was well worth it. I've made seven or eight loafs of bread with this new kneader and it works great. It seems a tad loose when installed, but thus far absolutely no stripping on the main turning mechanism and the kneaders specifically designed for my Oster was $37.00 and the whole bread maker only cost my $40.00, so this Sunbeam paddle bread maker made my year for baking bread and pizza dough!

I have a three year old Sunbeam bread machine that is used several times a week. We just moved to our new house and somewhere between the old house and new one, the paddle vanished. I immediately ordered this one as fresh, preservative free bread is a necessity in our home. This paddle fits perfectly and works just right. It doesn't get stuck in thick dough and it's easy to pull out and clean.

Did the research be4 purchase this paddle. it did say this is right part # for my Sunbeam 5891 , BUT IT DOES NOT FIT IN .It is too big. Now I don't know what to do . It's cheap enough to keep it and wash my money away but I need the right part anyone know where /which get the right paddle for my sunbeam 5891?Update : so since I can't really find the part anywhere , i decided to order 2nd one again cuz the first one i received was not same as picture showing , It works this time it fits in my sunbeam 5891 . I guess they just sent me the wrong part at first time . But I still give 1 star cuz they didn't send me the right part i ordered 1st time and had to sending double money on it.

This did not fit my breadmaker which is fine because it was a long shot since it is 20+ years old. I was impressed with the build of the paddle. The paddle was well made by the looks of it and I would recommend it just on that.

There is a lot of discussion about the size of the shaft hole for various versions of the paddle that say they fit a Sunbeam 5891 breadmaker. This one does! The paddle is taller than the original, but of course I knew that from the photo. I bought it expecting that with the extra height it would mix better. I can't say yet if that is true or not but I have used it once and it seemed to work well.

Needed to replace a blade seeing the original was accidentally thrown away with the rest of the last loaf (sometimes experimenting doesn't always go well). Was happy to find this on Amazon with free shipping. Much cheaper than other places I was able to find it online. It said there was a long expected delivery date, which made me nervous, but it did arrive within a normal and reasonable time (approx 1mo earlier than the latest estimated delivery date). Fits as expected - can't wait to try it out.

delivery is quick. However, the hole is a bit larger for the oster pot. But it still holds and works and is good. A steel cast shouldn't cost too much. Comparing the oster paddle with sunbeam one, the former is much more expensive than the later. I would rather use this as long as the final product is the same quality.

Didn't fit bread maker. Same problem with all the replacement parts I order. Sunbeam seems to need to make cheap versions they sell through other suppliers without proper model or part replacement numbers. Too bad, breadmaker was good value until you run into the wall of not being able to order replacement parts.
