I have used a few clickers through the years, and it's hard to describe the differences in sound, but there ARE differences. Some have a hollow sound. This one, which I prefer, is more of a true click. I like the wrist band because it's easy to carry.

I’m sure it works for dogs. I tried it for my budgie it didn’t really work, she seemed scared of the click.

The wrist strap helps a lot, the tearshape design makes it very easy to hold, and i honestly do prefer the click sound as opposed to others (seems 'softer' but still distinct clicking sound)
