Worked perfectly for small landscaping light project in my front yard. Functions are straightforward and provided all the control that I needed.Liked the compact size. Able to mount transformer inside house, run wires out window slots in lower frame area for cleaner look and ability to conveniently control from inside the house. You can’t go wrong with this product.

Years ago my Dad and I built a small retaining wall to create a seating space in the backyard. We put some lights into the wall and had a box similar to this that powered it. That box did not have any timer so we had that box plugged into a timer box and the whole thing just looked messy. Well, after only about 2 years the lights stopped working and I just sorta forgot about it. Cleaning up the backyard recently I pulled all the boxes down and began the search for a new one, it was between this one and a more expensive option that seemed to have the exact same specs and offered nothing more aside from price. So I went this route and couldn't be happier! Install was a breeze, the small footprint looks so much cleaner on the wall, and the built in timer options are great!! Time will tell regarding longevity, but so far this is a clear winner!!

Super quick and easy setup using the provided instructions. Wiring hooks right up and all you have to do from there is mount and plug in the transformer. Lights installed and worked on the first try. Automatic setting works great as well. Sometimes lights do go on & off a couple times around dusk/sunrise depending how the available sunlight hits the sensor, but lights are consistent when it's totally dark outside. Great product, highly recommended.

I like the push button timer compared to my last transformer and it smaller which I also like. The only thing is that the light sensor is external. It works great but I liked my old one the had the sensor built-in. That's why 4 stars instead of 5.

Well made and worked well for a couple of weeks. When it died the seller provided a replacement after I provided a video of the first one not working.

Just purchased this product. I seldom leave reviews, however, I am VERY pleased so wanted to take the time to share some information. I do not have an electoral outlet on the outside of my home. I chose this transformer, first because the solar sensor was on a wire vs on the transformer and, of course, because it was affordable for me. I was so please see that, not only is the sensor on a wire but it is NOT permanently attached ( it screws into the transformer) and at this end it is small enough to be snaked through a small hole. ALSO...the wire the sensor is attached to is apox 4 - 5 FT long. Other reviews mentioned the set up is easy and it really is !! You will not need a degree in computer science as set up is intuitive. Lastly I am using it to power two different brands of LED outdoor landscaping lights and, so far, it works great. I absolutely recommend this product.

I bought this unit to use for my new stair lights, I also used the SUNVIE brand of wire connectors which at the time thought I'd only be hooking up 4 lights not 6 so I had to do a bit of wiretapping for all of them. The junction hubs can only take pos+ with a second hub for neg- although there are 5 nuts you have to use one to connect to this transformer leaving you 4. They aren't metal and no mounting double sticky tape was included but I had leftovers not used for other items and used those to mount them under the top stairs. Mounted it nicely on the post at top of stairs, the blue button is used to select off/on, auto-for use with the daylight sensor and/or 2,4,6,8,10 hr. selection. You will have to keep pressing the blue button thru all of these to get back to off, not a deal killer. Rated for 50 watts and my stair lights totaled 40 watts. I got these to save on energy costs since I only need them when using stairs at night. Whichever way you do your wiring it has to come down to just 1 pos+ and 1 neg- wire but if your total watts will allow it you could use 2 wires on both terminals since there's room for that on either side of the screws. Power cord is 4' long and enough to get my connection under the stairs.
