I've used paper pattern tracing paper in the past, this is far superior. You can see through it much easier and it's much sturdier. You're markings show better. It's all around the best product for pattern tracing and pattern making that I've found. I found out about it through a sewing class I attended, now I wouldn't use anything else.

The product itself is a good one, but unfortunately this particular item has been cut in at least 2 spots. Happily I could work around the first slot I found, thinking it was only cut in one spot. Then I unrolled it a bit farther along and found another cut. I haven’t completely unrolled it to see if there are further slices. These are in the middle of the yardage, not on the edges. Since it’s for a foundation for a collage quilt I think it is usable, but this was not a pleasant surprise.

I purchased this product for inside layer between 2 layers for face masks. Although thin it worked well for this project.
