This junction box is an incredibly valuable thing to have.Forget messing with plug in timers for your holiday lights or landscape lighting. No need to stress aver going outside at 2am in your jammies to turn the pool pump off. This somewhat simple looking device has you covered and is pretty big blessing in my opinion!This arrived super quick inside of a somewhat small box. Inside, the junction box comes (assembled) with a good length of wire available to work with. There's also a small baggy with mounting anchors, screws, wire nuts and anything else you need for smooth and simple attaching/mounting. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. They do talk more about connecting to the app than attaching this to the electric line, but they do recommend hiring a electrician.I am NOT an electrician, but I do have A LOT of experience with electrical and enjoy doing jobs like this. Even if I didn't really know what I was doing, this is an incredibly simple and straightforward process to install and set up. If you have ever changed a light fixture or swapped out a light switch, then you can do this easy. It took me less than 10 minutes to get this connected and mounted. Where I'm NOT good is the technology part (tech and I aren't friends- at all). I already had the Tuya Home app, and it recognized the box almost immediately. From there, I granted Alexa permission and now I can control my outdoor lights with my voice, from my phone and from anywhere. I haven't had a single issue with connectivity or glitches. Honestly, this was one of the simplest things I have ever done and the benefits are pretty major!The only thing I had difficulty with is deciding to put this on the front of my home or the back (by the pool pump). Seeing I have Christmas lights on a big, bulky smart plug outside and the pool is closed, I went with out front. Once I realized how simple and useful this is, I came back and ordered one for the back, ready to go as soon as the weather gets better.

This hard wired WiFi enable timer module is a great idea for adding control of larger load items to your home automation systemExample is controlling your pool pump. I used to use a stand alone timer for my pump and it worked fine. Except for the times I wanted to start the pump outside of its programmed cycles.With home automation and the app, you have complete remote control of your pump, or other devices that have traditionally been difficult to control.This timer is easily configured with the Smart Life app.For the price, I am impressed.Hopefully it will hold up to normal use for my pump.The installation instructions are a bit confusing, but that is typical of documentation translated from Chinese to English.It should be easy to install but if messing with hard wiring is not your thing, an electrician will have no problem.Here is how I rate items:5 Stars = Exceeds all expectations, A definite buy! (Very Rare)4 Stars = Very good find, you should definitely give it a shot.3 Stars = It works and functions as advertised.2 Stars = A little scary, possibly OK, it may work out.1 Stars = Avoid this product, not worth the effort.

I recently purchased this Wi-Fi smart timer switch, and overall, I'm quite pleased with it. It came packaged in a thin cardboard box, but it included all the hardware needed to mount the smart switch box and connect the wires. The connection process was straightforward, especially after I printed the diagram from the product page to make it simpler. The wires are clearly marked: black (line - supply in), red (load - supply out), and white (neutral).I already had the app loaded on my phone for other smart devices around our house, so connecting this switch was easy. I was able to set up a schedule with no problems. There are several schedule options (Countdown, Schedule - time, Circulate, Random, and Astronomical - dusk/dawn). However, I do wish there something related to outdoor temperature, as we are using it to turn our heated cat house on and off.Overall, I really like the ability to control the heated cat house in our detached garage from my home office, which is 50 yards away, or even better, while on vacation anywhere in the world. Great product!

The Suraielec 35A ( 3600W) Wi-Fi enabled smart switch is Polycarbonate waterproof construction and measures about 2.5 x 5 x 1.8" and has 3 mounts for fastening on flat surfaces. There are only 3 wires to connect, Primary power, neutral, and the load. The product comes with all kinds of mounting hardware and is very easy to install.The " smart switch" requires the use of the Smart-life app and that was installed on my android phone without any difficulties. You can either create an account or it lets you install in the guest mode. (great for testing the product). Once installed the app quickly finds you 2.4Ghz B/G/N network and after you provide your password, you are quickly connected to the smart switch. (ONLY 2.4GHZ IS SUPPORTED ) The Smart-life app has lots of capabilities and supports many different products, however it gives this product many different modes such as scheduled, random, countdown etc. and of course on/off.Overall quality, workmanship and capabilities using the included app, makes this a great product for almost any 120VAC switching job. Solid product, solid 5 stars!!
