We've tried several kayak carts, and this one is by far the most versatile and usable. It fits many sizes of boats and makes moving a boat by yourself much easier. One suggestion is to have a 6 ft or so bungee cord handy, the included bungee sometimes isn't long enough to hook to the other end of the boat and secure it for moving. This cart can also be placed anywhere on the boat to customize how much you want to distribute the weight. Worth a try if you haven't found the cart that suits you yet.

This cart attaches to my kayaks in a few seconds and stays in place over uneven ground. Sometimes the boats don't sit level in the cart but that hasn't affected the way it works. I use it with a Jackson Tupelo 12.5 and a Perception Swifty 9.5. Works great on both. I bought the XL version of the cart. Seems like the large version would only work with a small/thin/not wide kayak or SUP. The way it folds makes it easy to store w/o taking up much space.

The cart is convenient and easy to use - for the kayaks that fit, The XL cart helped me easily transport a smaller (28" wide) kayak over some rocky terrain. Unfortunately, it did not work for a wider kayak (Ocean Kayak Malibu II XL - 34" wide). As the cart was pretty close to the end of the kayak (due to the kayaks width) it was ok on flat ground but did not work for going over the rocky (and slightly uphill) terrain. ( Also too small for a wider fishing kayak, although to be fair i did not expect it to work with that.) In short, it seems like a very nice, convenient cart if your boats are not too wide for them, but if you have a wider kayak and uneven terrain, maybe this is not the best choice.

I think they should add detachable padding like I did to the sides and top that come into contact with the kayak. I used this weekend. The XL worked great on my Castine14.5 and my twin Heron 13.5. Your kayak would have to be narrow for the large.

We like that we don’t have to strap the kayak down. We just lift the kayak and slide the cart onto it. If you are going over rough terrain you probable would batten it down but we usually just getting it from the truck to the water. We have fairly large NRS fishing kayaks. They fit fine and take the load off me. I can’t lift like I used to. Quality product.

This one is so much easier to load and unload your kayak off of as a single woman all by yourself. Easiest to pull and stay on wheels. I couldn't imagine not having this product.

I ordered a cheaper kayak cart and was very frustrated with it. I decided to invest in this one, which is $100 more than the previous kayak cart and it works five times better! It works so well, I ordered another one. Now, walking my kayak down to the bay is so easy!!! With a kayak cart, don't buy cheap.

Broke second use. Says rated to 150lbs. My kayak is 83lbs and it broke rolling down a concrete boat ramp.

Like how easy it is was to assemble and to use. Don’t like that there is no stopper for the bungee and when pulling tight it went right through the plastic hook. I tied a knot in the bungee to keep it from doing this.
