This hollowing tool works very well. Turned a potpourris dish in a relative hard wood without any signs of tool wear. Very stable in use.

It's as advertised. It makes turning the inside of a bowl easier and the wide flat shaft helps keep from twisting.

I was really impressed. Tip: angle the tip slightly downward so it scraps it will hog out lots of wood and is smooth. Turning complexly sideways makes for rough cutting and the bowl my come off the chuck.

This was a great buy for me, though it could be a bit longer. But for the price, which is about half of what I'm used to paying for a lathe tool, it really works great.

First time on my lathe with this tool and the head ripped out of the handle. there is no wedge fit to the tool head only glue and it was done very poorly on mine. JB Weld solves all... Fixed now work great after the factNOT WORTH 70$DO NOT BUY

Let's start by saying that this is not an Easy Wood hollower by any means but the tool does its job in hogging out a good amount of material in a short time. The curve of the tool is good for hollowing the upper 3rd of medium hollow vessels and is stabile on tool rest. I find the handle a bit small compared to my Easy Wood medium hollower so a bit more fatigue on the hands because the forearm cannot support the tool.Overall a good tool at half the price of the brand name hollower.

The product is from heavy gauge metal and is very sound. The carbide tip is very sharp and cuts terrific. Very good product. Worth the $105.00.
