About this item

  • Lights Dim Over Time, Replace In Pairs: Your lights are a pair, one is never turned on without the other. If one bulb burns out, the other isn't far behind. Replace your 3157 in pairs for optimum performance.
  • Delivers A Brighter and Sharper Light: This is an AMBER LED bulb – Ideal for park and turn lights.
  • Achieve Full Brightness Instantly For Increased Safety: These 3157 ZEVO LEDs light up instantly for increased performance, giving drivers around you more time to react compared to standard incandescent bulbs' slower light up speed.
  • May Require A Load Equalizer For Optimum Performance: To help prevent hyper flashing, it is suggested that a load equalizer be installed. See Sylvania's Load Equalizer product.
  • The Sylvania Standard Of Quality: With over 100 years in business, Sylvania is the world leader in automotive lighting for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and the aftermarket.

SYLVANIA ZEVO LED bulbs deliver a brighter, sharper light. As easy as changing a light bulb, you can have improved performance and safety for interior and exterior applications. World-class manufacturing and high-quality materials guarantee a lifetime warranty on your ZEVO bulbs.
LED bulbs used for turn signals may require the use of load resistors to ensure appropriate power is supplied to the bulbs and prevent hyper flashing.

Don't settle for the generic LEDs, these are an excellent quality replacement. They're easy to install and work well, very bright and consume significantly less power than a comparable halogen bulb.

I didn’t do a side by side, but I’d say they’re on par or maybe slightly brighter than the incandescent they replaced. If you’re looking to go LED don’t make the mistake I did, go straight for the zevo line. I originally bought a sylvania bulb, they were round. They were ok. Decided to try the zevo and ordered one as a test, woah. Night and day difference. Much better designed for a reflector housing. They really fill in the whole housing unlike the old round bulb that just kinda made some light. Mind you the round bulb had 6 sets of 3 LED chips! Ordered a second set for the front. Was a little skeptical being these are a single LED chip each side but they have a nice beefy metal heat sink. So long they stay cool they should last no problem. To review the 1157 red bulbs, also very good bulbs. Same setup as the 1156 amber but in red and will do stop/tail. I originally bought Phillips ultinon and boy was I disappointed. They did ok but were noticeably dimmer, especially pronounced side by side to the incandescent they were replacing. Do not bother trying other brands, until they get on the level of the Zevo line by sylvania, spend the money and get the Zevo. I’ve heard the non Zevo of the same style by sylvania are essentially the same however they don’t use a metal heat sink. LED bulbs can run hot and when they do they will not last. These are nice and bright even in direct sunlight. I should have spent the money the first time, instead I spent more than double in the end buying another bulb first.

It’s the perfect replacement for 7440A and 7443A. It’s brighter and more durable than any other LED replacement bulb. I got an LED replacement about the same price that lasted 4 months. On my other car I have the Sylvania Zevo LED and they’re as bright as the first day. I won’t get any other replacement except Sylvania.

Was a direct replacement for my mother-in-law's 2001 Toyota Solara. Unfortunately, the turn signals blink at about twice their normal speed now. Not a major issue, but some people may find this change distracting.

I bought these for my 66 Chevelle rear tail light / brake light / turn signal light. One bulb for all these functions. At first the light was bright for tail light and dim for brake. I re seated the bulb with half spin (different polarity?) and it corrected the issue. I also got the red bulb behind the red lens. Brake light and the blinker are very bright. I don’t notice much of a difference from the tail light / parking lights from the standard bulb which is good to have a difference from light and brake light. Happy with these to save as amps and not as hot. No issue with rapid or hyper blinking, works like a normal blinker. I noticed a quicker “on time” for the brake light over the standard bulb. Happy with this for my GM 60s muscle car.Updated: I bought a second set of 1157 LED AMBERs for the front parking/turn lights. These are 60's GM housings where the bulb pushes into the housing (versus rear bulbs that are in a socket that is inserted into housing). The rear 1157 led reds work great, but the front ambers do not work at all. 1) I had to grind off the weld slag, grind some of the plastic collar, and grind down the contacts on the bottom just to get them to fit. 2) once installed they did not work at all. Not on parking, didn't blink. Replaced original bulbs and they worked. So my intention is to leave the 1157 LED REDs in the rear tail lights (where I think I need them more) and leave the incandesant bulbs in the front. That seems to work for now, no hyper blink and brighter in the rear.

Did not work as advertised. Rapid flashing with my car. Both of them burnt out right after return window ended.

These did the job right. Much brighter then standard bulbs and they locked in place within the socket.

My daughter’s 2013 Hyundai Sonata kept having issues with the brake light. When I first went to change the bulb, the housing for the bulb was somewhat melted. I started researching the Internet and found that I needed to replace the wiring harness for the rear light assembly. I got this through Amazon for about 17 bucks. Put a new bulb in it and it resolved the problem for a couple weeks. After further investigation, people said that the only way to fix this issue with the Sonata and other Hyundai vehicles was to switch to LED bulbs. People had specifically said to install this bulb and the problems would go away. After an easy installation, the problem is now resolved. People on the Internet or saying that they had had the cars for five or six years with no further issues. So if you’re having problems with, the brake lights on the Hyundai vehicle, install these LED bulbs and the problem will go away.

I just bought these Zevo 1156 bulbs for the daytime running lamps (DRL) on my car. They are very high-quality, and produce a pure white light. I have had a few different LED DRL bulbs in the past, and the Sylvania ones fill the lenses much better, almost as well as stock incandescents. These bulbs are not very bright, but since they are used as DRLs, who cares. In fact, it may be better this way so not to annoy other drivers. Polarity-wise they are normal polarity, so if your car's sockets are reverse polarity, you must re-pin the connector._______________Edit: They've been in service close to 2 years and still kicking. No shorting, melting, or flicking yet (knock on wood). Quite impressive considering they are on all day long, even through the -30°C winters._______________Edit: They've been in service for 5 years and are still bright. During the day, they are on all the time. At night, they get burnt brutally by the xenon headlights right next to them without a heatshield. Sylvania has surprised me with the reliability of their Zevo LEDs.

Funcionan bien a secas. He visto leds chinos que brillan mucho más, pero lo cuestionable es la durabilidad. En este caso, los leds de esta marca duran muchísimo.

About twice the brightness of the standard bulbs. Its easier to see behind me now. It was a worthwhile purchase for the money.
