Bought this because I needed a scanner for work and didn't want to spend to much. Feels a little cheap when holding but function wise works well and will scan small or large QR codes and normal barcodes. Cord is average length for a wired scanner.

We have owned a small computer repair business for over 20 years, and you would probably think that we would have bought one of these for inventory and sales purposes years ago, but, we remained very much "old school" for the longest time until I broke down and decided to buy a barcode scanner and I am happy to say that I am VERY glad that I did. This scanner has made quick work of some of our more tedious tasks of inputting data and codes into our POS system as well as the various spreadsheets that we have for other purposes. For the longest time, I tried to keep inventory low enough that we did not need to buy a scanner like this, but, as is usually the case, business expanded to the point where keeping track of the vast inventory we truly had was more than could be managed the old way, and this scanner helped do the job perfectly. No drivers were needed, simple plug and play. If anyone is looking for a barcode scanner, we would highly recommend this as a truly viable and affordable option that works!

Works just like it should. Easy to setup, easy to use. Only downside (and why it is cheaper) is that it is wired.

Good product quality and helpful email support with timely answers. Alas, you get what you pay for and this scanner has limited ability to read multiple types of codes at the same time. I need to read both the long and short version of the UPC code and drop the check digit only from the long version but not the short version (that's the way my POS system was set up 30 years ago!). You can only program this scanner to do one or the other, not both at the same time. I have other, much more expensive scanners that can be programmed to do this, but this scanner can't. If this issue is not a problem for you then it should make you happy.

Wanted to decode bar codes and QR codes. Software and drivers apparently not available for PCsNot recommended for this purpose.

Always wanted one of these and now since they are so inexpensive bought one. Used it inventory my dvd collection. It really does make quick work of inventorying your collection.
