I use this case for my Leatherman wave. It's a good case and fits my wider belt. It's a snug fit but not tight, so as long as your not hanging upside down you're Leatherman won't fall out. Over all I'm happy with it.

The adjustable belt-width feature is completely non-functional in mine. The pieces sit flush in the starting positions but in NONE of the others. This means no adjusting to a duty belt or others.The attachment point for the holster is on 1 side only and it is just 2 screws. With any sort of forceful snag, this is gonna snap right off either damaging the attachment or maybe the buckle.I understand this is a budget choice. But to put a cheap plastic holder for an expensive tool seems self-defeating.*if this is for a cheap knock off tool, it might be fine to throw in the glove box for when you need one in a pinch.

I have the surge and it was extremely tight making it very difficult to remove and the belt clip only works on 1†belts . I did not see an option for a 2†belts .

So I took a chance to see if this will fit other Multitool's, and it does ! You can loosen the screws to adjust inside width, just don't tighten them too tight. Otherwise I am pretty happy with it, the open/close locking system is very good. I removed the side clip that you use to slide the tool into your pocket with, never used it so it's not a big deal. The one I have is very close to most Leatherman's, I have the Leatherman Skeletool which is very thin and would be too thin for this holder.
