Upon receipt, I was extremely surprised with the length of the wires in this new harness. The harness that came with my Prodigy P2 required splicing for every wire but the brake light. There is no splicing required with this new harness (unless you include the circuit breaker, and that is a terminal connection not a splice). I'm ecstatic Tekonsha added the additional length to the wires in this new harness. I most definitely recommend this harness and will purchase again (I like to have back-up on hand for everything whenever possible). Great Harness. Thank you to Tekonsha for the improvement in this harness over the one that came packaged with my Prodigy P2 from the factory.

Pretty simple kit - just read and then re-read the instruction. I'm not a fan of the crimp wire splicers - especially when brakes are involved - so I twisted the wires, soldered them, put a wire nut on and then taped them together. Worst part is finding the right wires lying upside-down. This was for a vehicle without any existing quick plug hook-up. 2009 Subaru Forester.

I was very happy with this purchase, the pigtails on this plug were very long and did not require me, in some cases, to add wire to get to the termination. As far as pigtails go, one can buy with confidence from the supplier.

Too short for direct connection to battery and breaker. Need a splice. Why so cheap with the wire ? 48 inches would help
