About this item

  • This Plossl eyepiece offers a quality 4 element Plossl optical design and approxiamtely 52 degree a field of view (AFOV). The high quality optical lens minimizes internal reflection and maximizes contrast. The blackened eyepiece barrel also prevents reflection.
  • Besides, the eyepiece is fully threaded to minimize reflections. The blackened edges and blackened interior is blackened to reduce scattering of stray light and maximize contrast.
  • It comes with beautiful matte aluminum barrels and blackened lens edges to prevent internal reflections and increase contrast.
  • What's more, the soft rubber eye guard that's custom fitted with a bayonet mount and brings convenience to glasses wearers. Leave them up or fold them down when wearing eyeglasses. The sturdy rubber cap can also proect the eyepiece from dust and moisture.

I purchased this eyepiece to give me the widest possible field with my Celestron 5. The field of view is totally flat. Stars appear like pinpoint across the entire field. The eyepiece has long eye relief that will please those who ware glasses. Enjoy high quality at a very low price.

No question about it. For the price, I was amazed at these. They are hold line standard and perform ad such. The 32mm fives a excellent flat view with no appent Aberration. Eye relief is also outstanding. I could use my glasses without difficulty.I was surprised. Never heard of this brand and could not find a non-store review. But I'm pleased with these. Well made.
