Works perfect. Had a jar of peppers there was no way I could open with my bare hands or or with a rubber gripper thing. Installed the jar opener in 2 minutes and took that lid off with no effort at all. Used it several times since. Works great on the smallest lids on up to the biggest.

This jar opener works very well. I've opened several jars that were impossible to open by hand & one that couldn't be opened with another hand-held tool that just damaged the lid. I think it works so well because you can use both hands to turn the jar instead of having to hold the jar with one hand while using the tool in the other hand. The provided screws were easy to install under a cabinet.

Wife and I are getting up there in age. Tried a few other openers but, this one works great. Wife weighs about 80 pounds and had no problem once she got the hang of how to place the jars in the jaws.Easy to Mont. Just take the paper off the sticky stuff hold for about a minute. I drilled a pilot hold being carful not to drill through cabinet. Screws fit flush and did not go through base of cabinet.Looks great. I waited a day before use to make sure the sticky stuff held.First test was a salsa jaw that has defeated other openers. Most of the time I would end up using a knife to break the seal. Very little effort and it opened right up we other the new G grip.I believe this is an American made product and it is made wellVery pleased with product and price.

Easy to install. Used screws to attach to cupboard to give more stability ...works as advertised. makes it real easy to open jars. Much easier than using silicone rubber band method to open jars.

And it works amazingly well. From a soda pop to Ragu sauce to large jar of pickles, it's just so easy holding with two hands and with hardly any effort, the lid loosens. I'm 75 with tremors and this has made a big difference in ease at cooking time.

This works great for most jars. I had trouble opening a quart size jar that was stuck pretty tight. It took several tries but it did finally open it. So, overall, I'm happy with it.

You would expect a tool like this to have metal saw-like teeth on both sides of the "V" but instead, one side is smooth plastic. Yet it works beautifully to open jars. The smooth side wedges the lid in place against the metal teeth by friction.Many years ago I was using large (5 or 6" diameter) round rubber discs to grip and open stubborn jar lids. That seemed to be the only way to do it at the time. In later years I found that to be a difficult way to open a jar and sometimes it failed.I like this opener because it mounts securely to the underside of a cabinet. It won't get lost in a drawer. It's easy to use because you're turning the jar, not the lid, and there's no slippage.This opener has never failed to open jars I couldn't budge using just my hands. As I gradually lose strength with age, I'll be relying on this more and more. I believe it's well designed and durable, so I think it will last a very long time.

This is the best tool in my kitchen. I can’t open anything very well anymore but this is perfect. Just hold it up straight and turn. The lid pops off with very little effort. Mine is attached to the under part of my cubboard. Works great!

I was skeptical, to say the least, but with arthritis setting into my hands, I need something to help me open jars. The handheld helpers still required me to use hand strength to hold jar and turn the device which is a problem. This device is easy to mount and I can use both hands to hold and turn jar. It is great that it works for such a wide variety of sizes and is hidden away under the counter so no searching when I need to use it. I was genuinely surprised how well it works it would recommend to anyone.

If you have problems opening jar lids then buy this product. My wife and I are older with some physical limitations so this product makes openings those lids so much easier. It works on both large and small lids. We have purchased two of these now and have no issues. Will definitely buy again if ever needed. Ours are mounted under the upper section of kitchen cupboards.

Having said that... this is the best product for opening any size lids and so easy to use once installed. Just place the jar under the opener and twist the jar to the left. What could be easier? Installs nicely under the top counter with 3 screws. 4 1/2 stars. I take away 1/2 a star because it's twice the price it should be. The proper price for this product should be $14.00 - $18.00 CDN.
