This must be the top recommended cooking thermometers because I see it all time being used in different smoked meats tutorial videos. This is an amazing cooking thermometer since it shows the temp within a second, is accurate, and turns on or off intelligently when you want it to with its motion sensors. I use this every cook to know when to pull smoked meats off and to get just the right internal temperature and avoid overcooking. I have used it for smoking brisket, ribs, salmon, and even getting the right temp for yeast rolls. Great tool and great durability in its build quality.

I have cooked and baked for years and have used many different instant read thermometers. I finally treated myself to the thermapen one. Worth every penny! Easy to hold and read, when working with hot liquids and candies, testing meats and breads and even when testing ice cream mixtures. Costs a little more, but saves in the long run because of its accuracy. I would give it more stars if I could!

I have wanted this for 10 years but could never justify the price. After blowing through 5 other ones that broke, stopped working, or would't calibrate, I decided it was worth it to have a great quality one once instead of wasting money on multiple cheap ones. It was the best decision I've made! It is super quick, easy to read (changes directions based on how you hold it), durable, compact for easy storage. All around amazing product!

I have been looking for a good food thermometer for some time. I have spent a lot of money and finally found a company that knows what affordable, accuracy, and ease mean. The meater is thick and won’t read if grill lid is closed, needs to be charged often. The Traeger broke right away, the entire tip came off. The probes on the actual Traeger grill are way off too. The laser changes temps so fast I don’t know what to believe, it just rambles. So the ThermopenONE has help me so much as I bake a lot of sourdough bread and homemade yogurts. Temperature is crucial for each for proper fermentation. The ThermopenONE is affordable. It is quick to respond. It is very accurate. I like that the tip in very thin and doesn’t make big holes in the meat. No extra buttons to turn it on and off, just open the probe to use and when done, close again. Well built and water proof. It will be a helpful tool in my kitchen.

I love this Thermapen One. I use it several times a week. My favorite thing about this is that I can comfortably use this as a left handed cook. The numbers rotate all the way around so I don’t have to tilt my head or hold it awkwardly! It has a backlight so it’s easy to read. It is fast and accurate. No more over cooking my steaks. It also reads temps high enough for me to make candy. I would recommend this thermometer all day every day!

Finally a thermometer that actually works. No stabbing a big long thermometer into a chicken, turkey or piece of beef, trying to avoid bones and find the right spot for an accurate temp read. This is amazing. And to date has been absolutely accurate in terms of the perfect (or desired temp that you want) for every piece of poultry or beef we have used it on. Excellent product and Seller.

I've had my Thermapen for 5+ years and it works as perfectly as the day I bought it. I bought this one for my father as he kept buying the crappy $10-$20 that don't work well and break. The build quality is just as good as the original and it reads even faster than my own. It's quite expensive for what it does but, you will never need another if you take care of it.
