I started having some sciatica issues from sitting at my desk all day long so I decided to buy a cushion for my chair. However, most of the ones out there in the market are too small for my chair and me since I’m 6’4â€. Therefore, I did a lot of research looking for a large, thick seat cushion, and this one fit the bill just perfectly. It is thick, heavy, and appears to be very well made. My only complaint would be that because the cushion is basically rectangular and not extremely contoured and because I tend to lean back and slouch down in my chair, I can sometimes feel the back of the cushion starting to roll forward under me. However, it doesn’t actually slide off of the chair or anything. Some of the less rectangular and more contoured cushions out there actually change your posture so that this doesn’t happen. I bought 3 other cushions of differing brands when I bought this one, but this was the only gel cushion of the group. I was planning on only keeping the one that I liked the most, but I like all of them for different reasons, and now I cannot decide which I like the best so I’ll probably end up keeping all 4 of them. If you’re someone who doesn’t like getting all sweaty in your chair, then this is probably the cushion for you. The gel material and the honeycomb design makes it cooler than any of the regular foam cushions.

My husband really loves this gel cushion. He sits for hours at a counter at a computer to start his work day and finds it totally comfortable and a great fit. The thickness of the cushion is great and the extended back gives extra comfort. We purchased another cushion previously from another company. This one surpasses that one. Thank you.

I purchased this as an option for a car cushion in colder weather. I have been using a Cushion Lab-type memory foam cushion in my car which is great for the summer, but in colder temperatures, it starts out like a rock until it warms-up enough to soften and actually provide cushion. With it getting colder now, I figured I would give a gel cushion a try since it wouldn't be affected by the temperature.I am happy I ordered this one because it has similar contours as my memory foam cushion, and it is very comfortable to sit on for long drives. It is heavier than the memory foam one, but that is actually a good thing, as the weight helps to keep it in place. Obviously, different cars vary, but this cushion fits over my car seat perfectly. My only complaint is that I wish it would have had a more stretchy fabric-like cover instead of a mesh one. It is still comfortable, but the fabric would simply look better and richer than the mesh. I realize the mesh is likely there for functionality (to increase air flow) and no one really sees it when I am sitting on it, so it doesn't affect my rating in any negative way. I haven't had to wash it yet but I get the impression that would be easy, as well.

Took me a week or so to get used to, but after adjusting to it I am glad I got it. The cushion is comfortable and helps with back and hip pain and strain. I recommend this product. For reference, I am a 155 pound woman and I got the larger size. There is no extra room on the sides, so I’m glad I got the bigger size. I think the smaller one would have been too small.

Purchased to use with wheelchair and it's been very comfortable, reducing risk of pressure wounds. The cover is removable and washes very well.

I bought many different types of cushions for my Parents to try to make them more comfortable, but they continued to have pain after sitting for a while. When they tried these gel cushions they absolutely loved them. At last they had a great cushion that filled their needs completely. No more pain even when sitting for long periods of time.I ended up purchasing cushions for my Husband and I also. We love them and nothing compares.I strongly recommend these Extra Large Gel cushions .
