Super excited to get this in. This thing rip tool is awesome. I had one I bought a while back that was a different brand and it was ok. This one is better in every way. It gives me more room with my cuts and has the extension on it that really reaches out farther than I expected. Super high quality, not cheap at all. In fact I am going to buy another for my bandsaw. I’m a woodworker work so super important to have good tools and. Goingmake is legit. I seriously can’t wait to try their other stuff. Well done and buy with confidence

I bought this because I used to try to make small, repeated cuts of small sizes. It was difficult and the results left something to be desired. I thought "why not" and bought this because it is inexpensive and was recommended by Stumpy Nubs (a youtube woodworking guru). I am glad I did. I can now make good, repeatable cuts. The device is solid, simple to operate. Well worth the money!!!

It's a very sturdy, well-made tool, though I've only used it twice so far. I ran across this type of tool here looking for other stuff. I compared it to several others and liked its features best. I thank one of the reviewers for explaining how to use the inch/metric gauges. I taped small notes to the top so I'd remember where "zero" starts. It's not hard to just count 16th or 32nds. I like this better than others that only go to 16ths because it's more accurate. I cut the grooved in box corners with a dado blade, and made only 2 test cuts to match the splines. Now all I have to do is read my notes to set up both the groove size for the dado and the width for the splines for future. Very happy with the accuracy.

Fits good on one of my table saws; however it seems too tight on the other saw. Should work fine for the intended use.

Oh. Duh. I saw an advertisement for a woodpecker version of this tool. Then I searched Amazon and found this. The cheap side of my brain said “it’s worth trying it for that price (one fifth the price of the woodpecker)â€. Just got it and set it up for the width of my slots. It works beautifully. Build quality equivalent to woodpecker quality. Duh, why would you buy the other?!?

Very sturdy and well made device for cutting thin strips of wood. No regret in the purchase of this tool. Provides accuracy and added safety on my Dewalt table saw.

I’ve played with this jig for a bit this morning and have it quickly dialed in to the thickness of the kerf of the saw. I make quite a few picture frames and keepsake boxes. I’ve got a jig for cutting the kerf for the splines but always spent a lot of time getting my spline to the correct thickness. Once I had this jig setup I was able to cut the spline to the perfect snug thickness.

This thin rip jig is made of aluminum and is very well built and solid. It has two ways to mount to the table saw: standard and T. And the roller bearing only moves in one direction , reducing chances of kickback. The measurement scale, however is useless. In my picture, the roller bearing is touching the blade and the scale reads 3 11/32. How does that help me when I want to cut a strip 1/4 thick? The scale should somehow be adjustable so that when it touches the blade, you zero it out and then read the distance away from the blade. And having the current scale in 32nds is really tough on the eyes.

First use was to cut some strips to glue up a formed handle. Very easy to use and much safer way to get this done on my table saw.

The device is a little difficult to accurately et or alter. I thing that the problem is tolerances in the sliding components are not as accurate as required.
