I just started trying to build guitars as a hobby to work on every now and then, so was looking for something inexpensive.For the price this works great. The bits do lose their sharpness fairly quick but that was expected at this price point.

Product comes with a set of router bits - used one with bearing - the tool is pretty dull and the bearing fell apart after couple of hours of use on countertop laminate - soft metal of bearing warn out - I ended up driving the spinning router into my countertop when the bearing failed.Now for the router itself.DANGER - the power switch is fully exposed - you lay down the router and it will flip the power on - I was lucky I was plugging the cord with my hands far away from the router.Chuck - gets stuck - had to tap the router bit from sides to loosen it up.Depth adjustment - no micro screw - you just shove the collar up and down and hope for the best.Depth adjustment collar - the locking screw is bottomed out and the depth changes with vibrations of the router.Motor bushings - after 2 days of pretty light use the motor shaft wobbles - bushings are warn out and the shaft has discoloring from being overheated and the entire tool gets very warm to touch.Bit changing tools - made of a very thin metal, but they lasted the 2 days I was using this router.But it looks pretty in the box and carrying case. Going to trash as I'm past the return period.

Ordered this router to do one project and that is about how long it will last ,the bits were ok but get dull fast . You get what you pay for
