Great Zigbee temp & humidity sensor. I initially looked at this brand because I have some battery powered water leak sensors and smart plugs by the same brand, and because the company is a Works with Home Assistant partner. If you already have a Zigbee system, these were very easy to set up. I had no problems with range, in fact, I installed one in a garage freezer that is on the opposite side of the garage and it works great, amazingly despite the distance and -15F temp. I hope the batteries do OK in that environment. I like how these use standard AAA batteries. I like Zigbee over WiFi as it is more reliable and far more battery efficient, plus the security aspect of Zigbee being on an isolated network. Some users have complained about inaccurate sensors or their 2-pack differing considerably from each other. They are close enough to each other and my Honeywell wireless thermostat and an Acurite I bought from a retail store many years ago.Update rate is more than sufficient for me, you can see in my included data export from when I placed the sensor in the freezer so it was constantly changing temperature, typically every 35 seconds when things are changing but sometimes oddly only a few seconds apart. My use case is to make sure the garage freezer is not left open (multiple times it closes but not all of the way with a small gap but enough to melt and ruin all food inside), and second one to monitor my first floor temp and humidity in HA as I don't have a smart thermostat which will help me check my dehumidifier (summer) and humidifier (winter) settings. An automation in HA sends an alert to my phone and Google Home devices if the freezer temperature is above 20F. If it saves my food just once it will pay for itself many times over.I am using latest HA 2024.5 and ZHA with a USB Conbee ii from 2021. They arrived with firmware version 0x15. HA prompted to install firmware 0x17 but after several tries, the upgrade has not worked due to timeouts. Maybe it's an HA problem, because my other Thirdreality devices (mains-powered smart plus and battery-powered water leak sensors) have upgraded fine every time. The same issue happens on both the "first floor" which is connected directly to the coordinator, and the "garage" which is meshed through a Zigbee Leviton switch DG15S. That said, I've encountered no other issues or disconnects yet.

The THIRDREALITY Zigbee Temperature and Humidity Sensor with Digital LCD Display is a highly reliable sensor that stands out for its consistent performance and ease of use. One of the most notable features of this device is its robust connectivity; it maintains a stable connection to the router without frequent dropouts, a common issue with many other smart home sensors.Equipped with a clear, readable LCD display, the sensor provides real-time updates on both temperature and humidity levels. This instant feedback allows for quick adjustments in your home environment, enhancing comfort and aiding in the maintenance of ideal conditions for health and property.Setup of the sensor is straightforward, facilitated by its compatibility with most Zigbee hubs, I use it with my Smartthings Hub. Once integrated into your smart home system, it performs seamlessly, delivering accurate and consistent readings. The compact design is also a plus, making it unobtrusive and easy to place in various locations around the house without clashing with your decor. In summary, the THIRDREALITY Zigbee Temperature and Humidity Sensor is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their smart home system with a reliable and user-friendly device. Its dependable connectivity, coupled with precise environmental tracking, makes it a valuable addition to any modern home.

Great device, good quality, easy to connect, easy to read, but the temperature reading is about 1 degree fahrenheit lower than the actual temperature (relative to 4 other temperature sensors)

Was looking for a temp monitor that works with SmartThings to create a boiler automation; turn on when outside temps dips below 35F and turn off when it's warmer than 36F. This sensor fits the job at hand; left it out a few days next to an accurite temp/humidity monitor and both are within 1-2F of each other. There's also a setting to offset in this sensor if you have another more accurate sensor to calibrate to.Between this and a toggle switch on the boiler, it basically acts as a temp controlled lockout without the complex pro equipment. Both SmartThings and Ecobee thermostats integrate with weather and temp services but neither are as timely or as accurate as a sensor that sits right outside the house; although they're often very close. The sensor seems to read temp every 20 min or so which is often enough for my purposes. I can easily use rechargeable AAA batteries instead of coin batteries often in these types of sensors. It's also a lot easier to fund dummy AAA battery that I can plug into an outlet for steady power no matter how low the temp gets.

These sensors immediately connected with my system. We're using them for integrations in our smart home setup with Home Assistant, and it took just a minute or two to get them set up and working perfectly. If everything could be so easy!

These things are pretty amazing, they work well with Hubitat and seem to have decent accuracy. They use aaa batteries, so you can use standard batteries without needing to stock anything weird. Haven't tested with Enloop batteries yet but hopefully that works as well. I have one in the main area running a 3 speed Z-wave fan controller, one in each bathroom which runs a rule machine app on the Hubitat hub which compares the bathroom humidity to the main room humidity and once that exceeds a threshold it turns on the fan with a z-wave switch, once it drops below that threshold for x amount of minutes it turns off the fan. It makes sure the fan goes on during showers or baths and turns off after the humidity gets down to ok levels without user intervention. I have had these in service for a year and would certainly buy again.

Works seamlessly with Home Assistant. Easy to setup and gives the information on the display as well.

Se colocarmos os 2 um ao lado do outro cada um apresenta valores de temperatura e humidade diferentes.Qual estará certo?Ou estará algum certo!?

It works well, and there is a good connection. I have it connected to my Abode alarm system and can see data from their app. I like that I can also see data on the screen (I don't absolutely need to go to the app like Abode's own sensor). I'm not sure how accurate it is, but there is some temperature difference with other sensors I have in the same greenhouse. Which is accurate or not, I don't know, but close enough for my needs. I bought it on special, but would buy more if they were cheaper...
