These wheels are Silent (or as quiet as any object gliding smoothly across wood can be)My chair shipped with nicer wheels than could have been supplied, but they were still loud.I live upstairs on a wood floor and I did not want to discomfort the downstairs neighbor.These also have the benefit of not damaging these original wood floors, one less worry for me and my security deposit.Easy install: tip chair over on to a couch or bed. Pull old casters out with minimal effort, push new wheels in, repeat 4 times and you are done.Informative: not a negative; be mindful your bottomed out height adjustment will increase by a few millimeters. Nothing huge, but if your ergonomics have you dialed in to interface with your desk at a specific height; hopefully you still have adjustment in your chair piston or the desk to compensate for the minuscule change.The chair is now effortless to move & smoothly glides around the room.You will discover if your floor is not level pretty quickly 😄There has been this friction delay when trying to chair scoot more than 5 feet that I did not realize I have been anticipating. It’s gone ðŸƒâ€â™‚ï¸ðŸ’¨The delay was caused by the previous high friction casters synchronizing orientation to travel in a new direction. These new wheels swivel so effortlessly that I am already accelerating when I am usually still exerting effort to get going.I want to take my chair to a wide open, smooth concrete conference center and just whoosh around for a while

These were a great addition to a chair I have. I work in a machine shop and these handle the floor and mats we have. They are pretty heavy duty and perform well in a work environment. I was skeptical when I got them, however they have exceeded my expectations. I’ll be buying these for every roller chair I get in the future. They are easy to install very durable. I noticed immediately from the materials that it was a quality product. My office has carpet and these allow my chair to roll well in it where the original wheels of my chair did not. They also don’t make any noise. These are a necessity and for the price you really can’t ask for better. You certainly won’t find better.

The wheels are quiet, easy to move, and they definitely won’t scratch your floor. They are easy to install, shipped fast, and boosted the height of my chair by about an inch and a half. My only concern is that It seems like the locking mechanism slightly dents the wheel, so I recommend not locking them too much. Other than that small thing these work as great wheels to replace cheap and unreliable stock ones.

(First impressions review, will update if needed)I have a full sim rig I use to play racing games, however after a recent move I no longer have the space for it.I also need a wheeled office chair so I can easily move between my personal computer and workstation.This presents a problem, as a wheeled chair is very likely to move while pushing pedals and sawing on a steering wheel. I had been looking at office chair wheel chocks/stoppers when someone recommended locking casters instead. I’m glad I went this route, as it is a much more elegant solution and works surprisingly well.These specific wheels came out of the box with something of a funky synthetic smell, but so far that is my only complaint. They roll very smoothly, and with much less effort than the factory plastic wheels. The locks engage firmly and do a great job holding the chair in place on hardwood floors.

TLDR: wheels are great but wished they were sold in quantities other than five per boxI put together this dining set from second hand store finds. The wheels on the dining chairs were in disrepair but these wheels were an upgrade which only slightly changed the aesthetic but drastically improved the performance. Dressing chair legs on travertine is so noisy. These chairs now glide silently. Would have given five stars if I could have bought four packs instead of five packs or if individual wheels were sold as I needed 16 wheels. Also I think only using four wheels instead of five changes the weight limit.

These wheels are a wonderful upgrade to replace the hard plastic originals. They fit perfectly and roll smoothly and quietly. Very happy with them and recommended them.

Wow what a difference.Quality construction, very smooth rolling, very simple installation.I sit at a desk all day for my work and this was a great upgrade for my chair.I am very happy with this purchase
