I was just replacing my existing DVR from another brand with this one. My cameras were all already wired and si I just needed to simply switch the hookups. Setup was a breeze, everything worked right away as intended. All my cameras (8) were instantly detected and ready to use. The initial setup wizard worked right out of the box and was fast with only a few steps. After setup I configured the networking and remote apps, all free! which is great. It worked very fast on iphone with little to no lag, even over cell data. I like that it supports Windows as well with a dedicated desktop app. Its not through a browser. The Windows app is essentially just a remote connection to the device, so you see everything exactly how you see it on site via the monitor.Conclusion: This replaced my old and failing Samsung system and was honestly so much better than what I had previously. I would definitely buy this brand again. Everything just worked, zero fuss or issues at all! 5 Stars!

Very happy with the 16 channel DVR and the app, which replaced an aging Samsung. I did have a problem getting a video feed and called tech support but was disconnected. I was surprised to find they called back within 5 minutes and was pleased with the support level. I had already resolved the issue as my monitor was too outdated for the DVR, but support helped with understanding the new system controls. Others have reported issues with the app but my experience has been very positive.

I recently purchased the TIGERSECU Super HD 1080P 16-Channel Hybrid 4-in-1 DVR Security Recorder AND the TIGERSECU Super HD 1080P 4-Channel Hybrid 4-in-1 DVR Security Recorder and wanted to share my experience. First off, the setup process was a breeze. I found it remarkably easy to get the DVR up and running, and connecting it for online access via both my cell phone and computer applications was straightforward and user-friendly.However, my experience with the applications themselves was less than stellar. While the visibility and access through these apps are good, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility they offer. A significant drawback for me was the inability to view multiple DVRs simultaneously. In my setup, I have one DVR in my house and another in my detached garage. Unlike my previous DVR system, the TIGERSECU app requires me to disconnect from one DVR to connect to the other, which is quite inconvenient and time-consuming.I attempted to seek assistance or a workaround for this issue by reaching out to TIGERSECU's Tech Support. Additionally, I posted my query on their blog, hoping for a resolution or at least some guidance. Unfortunately, my efforts were in vain as I never received any response to my simple questions. This lack of customer support response was quite frustrating and left me feeling somewhat neglected as a customer.In summary, while the TIGERSECU DVR excels in ease of setup and basic functionality, it falls short in application flexibility and customer support. For users requiring the ability to monitor multiple DVRs simultaneously, this might not be the best fit. I hope TIGERSECU addresses these issues in future updates or at least improves their customer support responsiveness.

I just ordered this DVR to replace and noisy, heavy, bulky, hard to use one that was installed with the rest of our ADT system by the previous owner of our house. I wasn't sure it would be compatible with our older-style cameras, but after connecting them via the BNC connectors on the back, connecting a monitor via HDMI, and turinng on the DVR, all the cameras immediately appeared - including 2 we thought were broken because they don't appear in the ADT Pulse app. I had a couple of small hiccups with getting the unit on line and connecting to the iPhone app, but those were basically user error on my part. I called tech support and immediately got the help I needed from a very patient, friendly, and knowledgeable support person.I've only had the unit for a few days, but as of now, I'd highly recommend it.

I have a 20 year old plasma tv that hdmi is not compatible with any hdvr. The age of the tv for the vga connection will only work at 1024x768 and the hdvr comes with default 3840x2160.I used my pc monitor and changed the output to match my tv. Easy setup and is working great!

The app rarely works. 95% of the time the live footage is not functioning to view.The time search also freezes making it impossible to even search a specific time.The app also doesn't give you options to change the time stamp or add additional administrators to use the app.The camera picture is pretty good though, but my cameras are not Tiger cameras either. They are Samsung.To add to this, I have never been able to sign in from my laptop to view the cameras at all.
