UBANU 4 Pack Toggle Hasp Latches with Screws, Color: BLACK With Padlock Hole-4pcs [*NOTE: My set of 4 did NOT come with the padlock hole]This is a pretty good set of small latches from UBANU. They are a little lighter duty than I was expecting. They don’t have much weight to them, so they feel a bit underwhelming. Also I was supposed to receive the 4 latches WITH a hole for a PADLOCK, but these did NOT have the holes. [***NOTE to UBANO – your company should actually look into this because the Amazon order page has the images incorrect for the PADLOCK and NO PADLOCK latches when they are highlighted.] I used a few of the latches on an old guitar case I have that has some broken clasps. The black color of the latches from UBANU matches the color of the case very well. The included screws did a nice job of holding the latches securely in place. Once the latches were attached I was able to easily open and close the guitar case and not worry about the case accidentally popping open and the guitar falling out. Overall these latches should work well for most smaller scale projects and are fairly reasonably priced.

Then latches are made from thin metal. I'm building a custom wood storage box and was disappointed in the build quality of these latches. They do not fasten tightly because there is no mounting hole under the latch. They also do not sit flush against the work surface. I am returning these.

Purchased a dog ramp for our disabled dog but ran into problems with the inferior latches they used on the ramp. Problem was they would not keep the ramp latched open and the ramp kept opening/failed to stay latched. Replaced those latches with these and no more issues.These buckle latches are top quality and much more robust than the ones that came with the ramp. They are thicker and feel much sturdier. On the ramp they stay put and do not open up. Our dog can now safely use the ramp which makes us and the dog very happy.
