In order to power my hard drive with one of those SATA to USB converters, I needed a power source that is at least 12v 2a. But most are low quality and falsely advertised. This one is more than enough amps and got my hard drives working.The quality of the wire is thicker than my previous one.

The 1A version of these work perfect with a 16' RGBCCT strip but do get just a bit warm. I just ordered the 2A version which should work cooler with long term use.

This is a 12V 3A DC power supply with a legit 5521 5.5mm x 2.1mm tip. I've gotten many power supplies with incorrect 5525 tips which don't fit right for reliable connections. I am using these primarily for network switches and routers. It can be used for many applications as this is a very common power configuration and tip size.It comes with NON-polarized prongs so you can plug it in either direction of your power strip or outlet.Because it's for LEDs, it also comes with a 5521 to screw terminal adapter which you can use for other projects such as a 5521 extension cable.

Although this Tonton 36W AC adapter is described as specifically compatible with "LED Strip Light, CCTV Camera, Router", the supplied "LED Terminal Connector" (coaxial-power-to-wire screw terminal adapter) makes it much more broadly compatible with other applications, such as experimental circuits and 5V devices without standard power connectors.I use this adapter for powering a USB fan that has only two wires for connection, but it should work well with any device that requires less than 3A. Main body and cable construction materials appear rugged and likely to last a long time, and for optimization, the 3A rating fits nicely between the more common 2A and 4A adapters.
