Neutral Wire Required
Humidity Sensor Fan Switch
A sensor switch in a class of its own, equipped with both PIR (Passive Infrared) motion and humidity sensors. Perfect for bathrooms, laundry rooms, spas, or any other room with high humidity levels, the TDHOS5 will help make your space more comfortable and energy-efficient.

Humidity Sensor for Automatic Ventilation Control
The humidity sensor works by detecting moisture in the air to automatically turn the ventilation fan on or off based on the moisture level.
-
Automatically Fan ON/OFF
Automatically turns on when humidity levels are high and off again when they have returned to normal
-
Preventing the Development of Mildew And Mold
Turn it off again after 30 minutes or when humidity levels return to normal, whichever comes first.
-
Humidity Detection
For Regions With High Moisture Content
Works by detecting the levels of moisture in the air and turning the fan on when humidity is high.

Q1: How to install and use this humidity sensor?
A: Please follow the user manual inside the box for detailed wiring instructions. After set up, the humidity sensor switch detects excess humidity and automatically turns the ventilation fan on.
Q2: How to determine the indicator light of this humidity sensor? What does flashing mean and what does green light mean?
A: The LED indicator will turn solid red when excess humidity is detected. The LED indicator will stay white if the manual button is used and no humidity is detected. During programming, the bi-color LED light will flash once every 2 seconds indicating the current setting is High, twice every 2 seconds indicating the setting is Medium, and 3 times every 2 seconds indicating the setting is Low.
Q3: How to program this humidity sensor and make it run automatically?
A: Press and hold the fan button for eight seconds until the bi-level LED light comes on. The sensor is now in programming mode. Press the fan button the same number of times for that function (For example: Press the button 2 times to select "Medium Humidity"). Press and hold the fan button for eight seconds. The bi-level LED light will flash 3 times and turn to white indicating that the settings are saved and the load will turn OFF.
Q4: What should I do if I am unable to use it after installation?
A: Check if the device is wired properly. This device requires a NEUTRAL wire for operation. Often the WHITE wire is used as a LOAD wire. Be sure to test ALL wires. Also, make sure that the HOT and LOAD wires are not reversed. If the humidity sensor does not turn on the fan. Change the humidity level to match the appropriate condition or manually turn ON the fan, after 20 minutes the humidity sensor will be operational.
