Use the rocker switch to turn light on/off and can be used in any single-pole application. Skylark replaces any decorator style switch and works with existing multi-gang wallplates. For use with incandescent and halogen light loads only, and one ceiling paddle fan up to 1.5 amps.

This is the third one I have bought. The first one I installed in my sons bedroom and we have been very pleased with its performance. It is difficult to find a combination switch that does both fan speed and the light locally. Throw in all of our switches are light almond and it makes it impossible to find in our area. The instructions are very clear and it was easy to install. When we built the house we had three wire conductor and a ground ran to each fan so it was easy as wiring it up in the switch box and then wiring the light and motor on their own circuit at the fan. If you only have two conductors and a ground to your fan this switch won't work for your application. I have to say this is great product.

I needed to replace a control/switch that went bad. This was easy to install to control the overhead fan in my kitchen. Slider controls fan; switch controls light. Had to hunt a bit to find this, I think because it's an older school control. Reasonable price.

I installed this myself (70 yr old woman). I was replacing another fan/light dimmer switch which had 2dimmers. Moms home aide broke both dimmer switches so since my other switches also have broken little tabs, I changed styles. Since I don’t think the light needs a dimmer, I’ve put The dimmer on the fan. Seems sturdy and don’t think the aides can break this light switch which is the toggle. Reliable brand. I’m happy.

The switch is better than what was there but it turns off the entire fan instead of just the light.

I ordered an exact replacemnt of a wornout switch. The installation directions were easy to follow, and the switch worked properly as soon as the cicuit breaker was reset. It is now working better than the switch it replaced. I expect it will give good service even longer than the first switch.
