Tormek HTK-806 Hand Tool Kit
This kit includes all the jigs you need for sharpening your knives, scissors, axes, chisels and carving tools. It is the perfect kit to sharpen all your hand tools.
The jigs are secured in the TC-800 Tormek Case with the included HTK-00 Storage Tray. The Tormek Case keeps your jigs and accessories organized and is easy to carry thanks to the premium leather handle.
The case is made of high-quality materials with a slidable lid that keeps everything in place. The storage tray is made of EPP, a durable, permanent construction material.

Intergrated Sleeves
The sleeves for the Universal Support are integrated into the fully cast housing. That ensures minimal play for the Universal Support; an innovation which improves the control of the sharpening and increases the accuracy of the final results.
Micro Adjust
Micro Adjust with acme thread and a scale for precise setting of the edge angle and cutting depth. This will allow you to dial in and get ultimate sharpening precision.
Magnetic Scraper
Double function magnetic scraper; during sharpening the magnet collects steel particles and after sharpening the scraper will make it easy to clean the water trough. This keeps your stone clean and cutting more freely.
Lift
With this feature, you easily raise the height of the water trough for sharpening and then lower when removing it.

I own an Edge Pro Professional, Edge Pro Apex, TSPROF K02, Wicked Edge Gen 3, KME, Ken Onion WorkSharp, and a ton of bench stones. So far, this is the fastest way to sharpen knives quickly that doesnt involve a belt. It wont burn your edge and it's much faster than the other systems, except the worksharp. That said, the worksharps finer belts WILL burn edges and dont leave as nice a polish as this thing does. The Edge Pro, TSPROF, and Wicked Edge will give you an overall sharper edge than the Tormek, even if you're using the Japanese waterstone and load the strop wheel with 1 micron diamond (I recommend this over the aluminum oxide paste they give you). That said, the Tormek comes close enough in edge quality that the speed makes this a no-brainer. The Tormek is my favorite system so far. Just know, there is a learning curve and you WILL mess up a knife or two while learning. For woodworking tools, there's no system that compares. You can even put a camber on plane blades with the included square edge jig (there's a little knob adjustment that lets you do this). The tapered honing wheels are also super useful for deburring curved woodworking tools.

Like everything about it. Wish I had gotten one years ago.It’s pricey - but you get what you pay for.Got the jigs and have used it on a full range of kitchen knives, pocket knives, hand plane blades and turning tools.No reason to suspect it won’t be the last sharpener I’ll ever need.Instructions are clear and easy to follow - plus there’s always online videos.

Incredible quality and performance. Adapts most any tool requiring sharpening using a range of accessories second to none. Online technique videos by the manufacturer have been helpful in getting the most out of the sharpener. Can highly recommend after owning for more than three years. No regrets, would purchase again in a heartbeat! (Though I will likely never need to replace!) The Tormek stand was added later and has been quite valuable allowing secure organization. Wish that I had purchased a Tormek earlier in my woodworking activities.
