I don't need to use a product like this very often, but when I do, I reach for this stuff. I am a semi-professional drummer who plays outdoor gigs in the heat and humidity of the Deep South, and I keep at least one canister of this rosin in my gig bag at all times, right there with drumsticks, towels and other necessities for the working drummer. It absolutely works for counteracting sweat and keeps me from flinging drumsticks all over the place. I learned about chalk or rosin back in my marching band days, and when I needed to resupply, this product came up in my search. I'm no athlete, so I can't speak for tennis, golf, etc. etc. But for drummers in the summer, gigging outdoors, you can't go wrong with this product.

Great for gripping my tennis racket in this crazy Florida heat. Can share with my teammates too as you just pour the talc into your hands rather than sharing a bag or a tac rag. Love it. It grips, unlike powder, and isn’t sticky like tac rags either.

This powder works well for sweaty hands while playing tennis. It helps some but also have to use with a tacky towel on those really hot days.

If it's a hot humid day and your hands get wet and slippery this stuff works great. It has a Shaker cap and when I step out of the golf cart I sprinkle a little of this on my hands rub them together and I'm ready to hit the ball.

My hands sweat a lot playing tennis. I'm using this to try to keep my hands dry and prevent slippage. It does a decent job of it.

I’ve used different kinds of rosin for playing tennis. This is by far my favorite. Lasts a long time and doesn’t get powder all in your tennis bag (just make sure you close the top!).

It was fine, and definitely dried out the grip, but I would need to use it almost constantly to keep the grip dry.

This isn't as sticky as the stuff you get out of a pad it seems. However, it makes up for it by actually being easy to get a decent amount on your hand/grip which makes up for the slightly less tacky feel. The cap is a simple twist cap that opens up the holes for easy dispensing and of course making it easy to seal again. Nice and neat and easy to dump back into your bag.In use as I said, its not quite as tacky as the pads I've used - maybe because the grains are a bit coarser for easier pouring - but you can get enough on to make a good go of it and once warm and damp it works well. I've also found that over time this stuff gets embedded into the grip on my squash racket which is a bit nasty but helps give more stickiness to it.Overall a good buy and the balance of ease of use makes this better than the pads I've used.
