i have been looking for a tracker for my pets for years and i kept coming back to this one. despite the subscription, i bit the bullet and bought it. i wish i knew the updated version would be released about a month after i bought this, because i totally would’ve bought it instead!it has super accurate tracking.it seems durable so far.and it works without any problems so far!i wanted this specifically for tracking and precise tracking at that. this is probably the most precise tracker out there, and it happens to track my dogs activity, which i use more than i thought i would.sometimes i will get random notifications that my dog is back in the safe zone when she never left to begin with, which is definitely annoying but it still does what i want it to do.i will say if your dog has a pearl collar it’s tricky to put it on their collar, and im looking for a pocket to hold the tracker in that slides onto her collar for easier use.i wish it was smaller, but the newer version is smaller so i can tell the company is always trying to improve their technology.i also wish it was sleeker and less tacky looking, but the newer version is definitely better in that aspect as well from what ive seen.the beep and flashlight are not reliable, because they can take a while to load and the flash isn’t very effective, and the beep is quiet, however it’s useful if you want to train your dog to come to you when they hear the beep.overall the tracking is very accurate and updates within seconds.i would love to see a smaller, sleeker design with less bugs, but this is a great tracker and the tracking works pretty perfectly! it’d be nice to also see a longer battery life in the future, and a sleeker charging station.i was debating getting the fi collar because i prefer the sleeker look, but this is definitely a better option as far as precision and tracking accuracy. i will take a tacky device on my dogs collar over a lost dog.i would recommend this to anyone looking for the most reliable pet tracker on the market.

I bought this tracker in December 2020 for my indoor/outdoor cat. It's been a game changer for me in both convenience and peace of mind. We live near a main road and I've been able to see that he doesn't cross it nearly as much as I thought he did, which is a relief. Late at night if he's still out I can quickly find him and lead him back home instead of having to wait around until he decides to come back. It's really interesting to be able to see all the places he goes as I had a lot of assumptions previously about his movements that I now realize were wrong. I was surprised to find that most of the time he stays within the range I prefer him to wander, which I would never have been able to know without the tracker.Initially I signed up for a month-to-month subscription for about $9 per month. This allowed me to see where my cat was at any time and view his recent history, and also to cancel at any time. After a few months testing it out I decided to upgrade to the yearly subscription which includes one replacement should the tracker get lost. There are some reviewers who complained they couldn't use the tracker without paying for a yearly subscription, but if you're considering getting it I would suggest looking at the options yourself as that was not my experience.The tracker is really meant for dogs so it is a little big on my cat, but it's fairly lightweight and he seems to have adjusted to it fine. I do hope one day a smaller one can be developed for cats.I use breakaway collars with my cat, so I worried a little that having a bulky object attached would make it more likely to catch on things and come off, but the collar has only broken off about 3-4 times in the 8 months I've had the tracker attached, which is no more than usual for my cat. The live tracking, light, and sound features helped me to locate the tracker each time so I could retrieve it (the first time it was 6 feet inside a drainage pipe where my cat had fought with another cat, that was a good time getting it back). The sound is high-pitched but a bit hard to hear unless it's quiet outside and you're pretty close to it. But on the other hand I wouldn't want it to be deafening in case it ever got turned on while my cat was wearing it, as that wouldn't be fun for him.There were some bugs I noticed early on with how the tracker functioned, but I’ve installed the firmware updates as they’ve become available and it’s working much more smoothly now. I find it to be pretty accurate whenever I'm trying to pinpoint my cat's exact location via the live tracking feature. I had minor connectivity issues now and then for the first few months, but those have improved with the updates. The battery life has been great since day one; I take off the collar and turn the tracker off whenever my cat comes inside, so I only have to charge it once or twice a week. The company seems to be continuing to make overall improvements that are helpful. They were responsive and pleasant to deal with when I contacted them early on with feedback.All in all, despite some imperfections, this tracker has been well worth the cost for the peace of mind it's given me of knowing where my cat is and where he's been, and for being able to locate him and get him back inside whenever I need to. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to keep track of your pet via GPS tracking.

I should have got something like this years ago as my dogs seem to always find the escape route in the end and I spend hours in anguish looking for them. Last time they killed chickens and it was all awful. With this tracker on one of them I can find where they are on gps and then pinpoint using Bluetooth. It’s such a relief knowing I’ll be able to find them if (when?!) the run off again. Good value for the peace of mind, absolutely!

Le traceur GPS Tractive, fonction parfaite, autonomie d’une semaine et une localisation au mètre près je l’utilise depuis deux ans et toujours pas déçu. Je recommande vivement pour ceux qui ne veulent pas perdre leurs chiens.

Lo compré para mi perrita y me preocupaba que fuese muy grande para ella pero no le incomoda para nada y es de buen tamaño para su collar. También me preocupaba un poco que se desprendiera y por ende lo extraviara pero es muy resistente y las bandas de ajuste quedan fijas firmemente al collar así que ya no me preocupa. En cuanto al GPS y su precisión, funciona tal como se espera, aunque a veces tarda un poco en actualizar la ubicación pero creo que eso depende de mi proveedor móvil y de la zona en donde nos encontremos. Me agradó bastante la App ya que me ayuda mucho a ejercitar a mi mascota y también a darle seguimiento a las calorías y sus horas de descanso. Tienen diversos Planes (Subscripciones); yo aproveché una promoción que tenían en una bianualmente así que obtuve un pequeño descuento. Tenemos solo una semana usando Tractive pero ha superado mis expectativas hasta el momento. Es muy confiable y muy fácil de usar; lo recomiendo sin duda!—————————Algunos problemas han surgido desde que lo compré. Tengo dos perritos así que compré dos dispositivos. Ambos con dos años pagados y su respectiva cobertura (tipo seguro). El dispositivo de la perrita empezó a fallar. No encendía, lo cargaba por horas y horas y de plano no funcionaba. Lo reseteaba y nada. Pedí una reposición, duró casi una semana en llegar pero todo bien (con ése). El del otro perrito, empezó a fallar solo un par de semanas después que el otro, pero el problema con este era el GPS. Me decía que estaba en otro lugar completamente distinto, no funcionaba la búsqueda y el sonido de alerta tampoco se activaba. Pedí reposición varios meses después tratando de resetearlo o esperando que con alguna actualización volviera a agarrar la onda pero no. Digamos que al día de hoy funciona bien pero tenía una duda y decidí leer montones de documentos al respecto pues es muy difícil contactar al equipo de Servicio A Clientes.En general, funciona muy bien pero a veces sus actualizaciones tienen un efecto no tan positivó en el equipo y una atención vía email que dura semanas no es precisamente conveniente.

O localizador funciona independente de internet, ou seja, funciona via satélite e você pode acompanhar seu pet onde estiver, pode também definir áreas seguras, e você recebe notificações sempre que seu pet sair de uma área segura! Muito resistente porque minha pet já mordeu algumas vezes o localizador! Recomendo muito!

Tractive is a fabulous product that delivers what it promises. My girl (a Husky) is an escape artist and I have had to rely on Tractive more than once to tell me where she is. It’s accurate, it tells you when the battery needs charging and the App is super easy to use. I love the “live” feature! The battery lasts a long time before it needs recharging (better than any cell phone I’ve ever had) and my girl swims and it’s proven to be completely waterproof. Worth every penny and I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to keep tabs on their fur babies! I won’t go without one. I’ve had this one for years and when it dies (no sign of that yet!), I’ll be getting another one!!
