These probes work great, are solidly put together, and are exactly what I needed. Both probes have been very accurate when checking against other thermometers showing within 1 degree of my handheld thermometers. The entire length of the wire is braided cable and should hold up well.

First of all, it is possible to fry your Traeger probe, which I did after only a few cooks….thought the grill was in shut down mode-but it was actually busy putting a blackened sear on the probe. Embarrassing! Needless to say, I immediately looked on the Traeger site only to find they are out of stock. Researched here on Amazon, found a two pack (for any future mishaps) for less than the “official†replacement part. Needless to say, I was thrilled at the price, quick delivery and most recently…the performance. Worked immediately, no glitches, checked accuracy of the temperature against my trusty ThermaPro. The probe was within a few degrees of the ThermaPro and there have been no problems. Love it!

Quality, great customer support. Probes register very accurate temperatures which is so important with my WiFire setup. I have purchased many other accessories from Traeger and rely on them to perform. This is also true about the wood pellets…great flavor and I love the various options.
