Works great on any sled. Had a charging problem on my 97 Polaris Ultra 700 Touring. Was killing my battery. A new regulator from Polaris was $140. This was a no brainer. Easy to install and works better than the factory regulator because its adjustable. Lights are brighter at Idle. Great product, highly recommend this item.

I used it to upgrade a 1972 Yamaha DT2 to a 12 volt headlight.

I didn't even notice the instructions in the box at first. Spent hours wiring it up after testing it on an 18v tool battery and mistakenly thought it was supposed to be installed in series with the headlight. The yellow lead goes to the power, and the orange lead goes to ground. After switching it to be wired like that it worked like a charm and now my CT70 has a 12v system all around and doesn't blow headlights when revving.

Purchased July 1 of 2022 for a rarely driven xl250r. On August 2 2023 it failed and they would not honor a the 1 year warranty. Probably not more than 1500 miles on the bike since install

I have a 1983 XL250R I'm fixing up. Using a voltmeter (any generic multimeter works) I measured the old regulator at 10V, and then it would spike and blow bulbs. Upon thinking it was the original sealed beam headlight just burning out, I put an aftermarket headlight in place, and the problem continued. FYI, Emgo makes a nice replacement headlight bucket that uses a standard bulb, although you'll have to cut out some brackets from thicker sheet metal. A cheap replacement regulator from ebay that was supposed to be a direct replacement was too strong and regulated the voltage down to nearly nothing. This thing is perfect, I had the voltmeter hooked up with the motor running, and was able to have the throttle open to roughly cruising RPM, then adjust the screw to get consistent 12V at cruising RPM. The screw is VERY SENSITIVE to changes, so go slow if adjusting. The voltage does go up and down a little when letting off the throttle, but it smooths out in a few seconds, and never spikes to a point where a bulb will blow or not even light up. I can finally pass inspection now in PA and go ride my dual sport on the roads. You need minor wiring knowledge, as you have to crimp connectors on the ends, and I recommend a ratcheting type and some shrink wrap tubing on the connectors. Good luck!

I use this on a Predator bike to stop flickering LED lights. Wiring is easy, customer service is super dialing in voltage couldn't be more simple.**EDIT** I have been using this for the last 8 months without any issues, I have included a USB port/voltmeter to charge my iphone and monitor voltage output. Best bang for the buck hands down.

It worked great for hooking up my XR200 stator so it doesn't blow the lights. A good price compared with other voltage regulators. I wish the attachment was a single hole so is was more secure when attaching it to the frame. Hence 1 less star.

Installed on my 04 XR250R and it seems to be doing its job. I had an issue where voltage would jump and kill all the new LEDs but this thing seems to be regulating it flawlessly. Very small unit and tapped into the main stator wires.

Amazing product, service is equal. Everyone rebuilding an older atv should have one of these if your voltage is way out. Can take up to 50 volts input and output 12 volts.

This regulator only cuts the negative part of the wave, thus the positive wave still stays untouched. This will not regulate battery charging to 13.8VDC, the battery just keeps charging beyond 16V. The picture above illustrates this. The only thing this regulator is effective for is making your headlight last a little bit longer. The yellow wave is the AC voltage, the red is shows where it is regulated.
