Assembly was fairly easy for one person, although I could have used a second set of hands at times, but a folding chair came to the rescue. very sturdy and well constructed, very happy to have purchased this.

made in China! However, seems to be good quality materials. (steel & bolts)
Great game and a lot of fun

I bought this because my knees and legs are in really bad shape, and just walking around can sometimes be a problem. So working on the top of my 2500HD 4x4 and moderately lifted K5 "35" tires and 4" lift "expedition vehicle" had become a real problem.Assembly was simple as expected. Fasteners are typical cheap ungraded Chinese and lack washers that should be provided at many points. Construction is minimal but adequate. I'm 6' tall at about 200 lbs and it supported me quite well in my brief test. Of course I wasn't trying to lift out a diesel truck head or old cast iron manifold, and I think that might exceed it's construction limits. Really no more or less than I expected for the price I paid. At $166.02 total to my door, I would have been disappointed if it had cost me any more.I really only have one complaint. It purports to be "foldable", which strictly speaking I guess it is. But unlike my Harbor Freight engine crane (cherry picker) that seems built with folding as part of it's design, this seems barely suitable to the term. For one thing, if you put the safety retainers on the angle lock brackets (the slots that control angle on the vertical "ladder"), you simply cannot fold it at all. With those "safety retainers" removed, you can move the brace out of the way and lay it down with the ladder roughly vertical, and then the legs come up almost vertical against the ladder. However, there is no mechanism to retain it like this, and it will quickly unfold (if you want to call it that) if not restrained. I tied it up with a cord. Then it's basically impossible to roll it at all with only 2 swivel casters (for instance, the folded shop crane still has 4 on the floor for this reason). I'm still in physically capable shape to lift it and carry it into it's designated storage slot against the wall. But if I were not, I would pretty much be forced to leave it unfolded and in the way (or outside) all the time.Still, it's worth the price being functional and suitable for the purpose intended. I would recommend it (with reservations mentioned) for any home shop type working on trucks, particularly larger or lifted, especially for those of us with leg problems. However, having worked professionally in this area (owner operator of shop), I would not even consider recommending this for professional and/or heavy/frequent use. In that case, I would say spend the money on a better unit.

Sturdy. Pad comfortable enough. Easy assembly. Optional swing out tray very useful. Partial fold up helpful in reducing footprint while stored . Great for DIY..Saves knees, back, arms, elbows and is less tiring for extended efforts.

Way better than the one I bought from another FAREAST outfit.I went to return the POS and they said keep it! This is a much sturdier unit, the design is much the same as the on the however, it's just better made and the gauge of the material is either thicker or better grade steel. I recommend 2 pieces of sturdy foam hung from the top of the ladder and semi secured to the lower sections of the ladder to provide protection from the stand, so it won't scratch your vehicle. These units are great for large dioramas and scale model train lay-outs.

OK …. what can I say. If you work on engines and don't like laying on them this is the baby for you. If you buy this from one of the tool dealers it will be twice the price for pretty well the same. I use mine several times per week while working on BMW x5's and it make my life much better.

A must have for a lifted truck. The corner edges are a little sharp but I used youth hockey elbow pads over the edges.
