I wondered how well this would really work. The price is so cheap it's absolutely worth trying. The anodized aluminum material is high quality. The threads on the T-adapter and Canon adapter are very fine and fit well though they're a little rough (run them in and out a few times). The fit on my Canon EOS (I have 3) was perfect.I've wanted to try astrophotography for some time. I 3D printed a camera adapter but didn't want to trust my expensive camera to it. I have no reservations about this nicely made aluminum adapter. If you have different types of cameras, you can just get the additional camera adapter part to fit on your t adapter. I've seen people try to use a cellphone to take photos through their eyepiece, but it's hard to get it right. For me this is the best part. Every time I tough my telescope it moves a bit -- and even the tiniest amount is multiplied a lot in space. I try to be hands off once I'm sighted and focus. And with this adapter I can just look at the LCD screen on the camera to see! I can even send it to a large screen. I recommend a remote shutter trigger for the camera to stay completely hands off.

I have tried this with 4 different Canon bodies (5D classic, 60D astro, t6i, t7) and its worked great for all of them. I have hung them off the back of a Celestron Nexstar 6 and its worked great. Its smooth on and off and the m42 threads into the T-ring smoothly, although you can tell its a lot of metal to metal contact. This is a great piece of gear for any photographer, or stargazer to have in your kit.
