The Anglo model is a "bisonoric" design-much like today's harmonica-where a different note is produced by the "push" and "pull" motion of the bellows. This type of mechanism lends itself perfectly for many styles of ethnic or "folk" dance music.

This concertina plays and sounds great. No buttons sticking and the sound is really good for an inexpensive instrument. The build quality is really good and solid and I highly recommend this concertina for anyone who is looking for a good instrument. I will buy from this company again. Great quality product.

Bought this concertina for my 10 year old who swore up and down that he was going to practice this everyday and become a 'concertina master.'Well, we know how that ended. He's kept this thing mighty protected in the case that it comes in, for fear he might do a little damage if he plays it too much.Altogether it seems like a nice intro concertina. Sound is good, it moves smoothly, and it comes in a nice (protective) carrying case that has kept this thing dust-free for months.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. I was surprised it was not sent in a box but no damage. It also does not have any instructions or music book with it.

I ordered a concertina for my son's birthday form another vender at a slightly cheaper price, and it never arrived. I canceled that order, and went with this product. It was a little more expensive, but worth it. The concertina arrived within days of ordering it. It has a huge sound. Way louder than I expected, but good tone and quality.

I bought this along with a book on how to play the Anglo Concertina and I was not disappointed. It arrived in a nice bag which I store it in and it sounds amazing, no sticky keys, no nothing, just a great instrument over all. 10/10
