I used this to level my Seestar s50. Made it much easier to level the Seestar by using the two bubbles on the sides. Great product.

This device is very well designed and manufactured. I install it between the S50's tripod and the upper telescope assembly. With this installed course level adjustment is done with the tripod legs, then fine adjustment to is consistently achieved to 0.3 degree. Such leveling accuracy minimizes dropped subframes.I recommend this product.

I recently purchased a seestar S50 telescope Two things are absolutely necessary 1 is for the internal compass to be calibrated and the 2nd is that the scope needs to be as.closemro level as possible. The internal software does an excellent job but to get the scope level requires the adjustment of the tripod legs and that is not an easy task However by placing this item between the scope and the tripod the task becomes very easy. An excellent addition to my scopes equipment at a very reasonable price

Positives:+ Fast and easy method of fine tuning the leveling for SeeStar S50 after you leveled your tripod+ Upper locking collars work: they lock in your adjustments but only after you dial in your level height with the lower/larger turning collar. To lock the level, you need to tightly turn the Upper/Smaller collar counterclockwise all the way up into the bottom of the top plate.+ Sturdy, no movementNegatives:- The 2 side spirit levels are hard to see and use since they are small- The “bottom†of the spirit level cages have sharp corners. No, they don’t need deburring and yes, I understand they are pointed to provide protection for the spirit levels but a little beveling like the top of the spirit level cage would have been nice - especially at this price point.- Pricey at around $40.00usd

Purchased specifically for use with my SeeStar S50 telescope.It fits perfectly between the tripod and the telescope with nothing to reconfigure or other adapters required.No instructions included, but I think the smaller knurled nuts are used to “lock in†the adjustments made by turning the larger diameter round nuts. I don’t bother as so far, there’s not really enough weight from the SeeStar to skew it from initial settings throughout the night.Great product!

Dieser Artikel passt sehr gut zum nivellieren eines Seestar S50 Teleskop. Gerade bei nur wenig & einseitig schiefen Untergründen ist dieses Zusatzteil, das NICHT im Lieferumfang enthalten ist, sehr hilfreich. Mit den roten Rädchen kann man einzeln kleine Korrekturen vornehmen. Es wird zwischen Teleskop S50 und dem im S50 Lieferumfang enthaltenen, stabilen Stativ eingefügt.

I use this on an alt-az telescope tripod. The telescope has to be perfectly level and the manufacturers supplied bubble is hard to use as you have to adjust the tripod legs. This allows you to get the tripod approximately level and then use the three thumb screws to get an exact level. With two horizontal levels and a bubble level, it is an easy job.
