I bought this urn in black for my springer spaniel we recently lost to cancer. The urn arrived well packaged and exactly as shown online. Very well made & heavy. I bought the large size because a medium was not offered. Well pleased and would highly recommend. It looks expensive and tasteful. I appreciated the quick shipping as we were unprepared for the sudden turn things took. So glad to find this online at half the price for the exact same or VERY similar item offered by the pet crematory.

Nice size for a small pet. Like the glossy gray color with the little paw prints. Glad I didn’t have a name printed because now I can use it for both my cats who were siblings.

This is a really nice urn. Feels very solid and secure with beautiful details but the opening was a little too snug for comfort. While most people would likely opt to put the pets ashes directly into urn. We chose to keep his ashes inside the bag from the crematory (in the case it gets dropped or knocked down and breaks) If this is what you plan to do as well understand that larger dogs will need a very thick remains bag and surgical hands to work it through the slot without ripping it. I was able to do it but I suspect if our dog was any bigger it likely wouldn't have worked. Either way 5 STARS on the product itself.

We recently lost our little girl of 15 years to heart failure. It was sudden and completely unexpected. We thought we would have a few more years of cuddles and kisses left to go. We are HEARTBROKEN! We will never get over the loss of her sweet self. She was nothing but LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. Her days were spent cuddling, playing and kissing everyone she met. She will forever be in our Hearts! In finding her last resting place I could not bare to see her in the ground outside without us. So my husband and I chose this little urn. It is small and classy like she was. This urn was perfect for her little self. She was only 4lbs when she left us. This urn is heavy and made very well. It feels like an urn for a human. looks and feels high quality. For the price it's a gift. I included a pic of my sweet baby girl and another pic of the urn by a can of pop so that it could help anyone in their time of grief. This urn is a size Small. If you are reading this review, you are probably shopping for a loved one and going through a a difficult and painful time. I'm sorry for your loss.

I am overall happy with the urn. The color is as expected. It fit my 14lb mini dachshund's remains with little room to spare. The urn is smaller than the pictures make it look but does match the actual dimensions given. Quarter is there for comparison. I was unable to get the bag through the top. I moved him to another container then inserted the bag to refill and tie it off. If you were to forego the bag and just pour the remains in I think it would be easier and would fit a 17lb dog as stated. I wanted the bag in case I ever want/need to move him to another container. There was a lip inside that could catch smaller particles which I wouldn't want to leave behind. The screw action is not smooth but I actually prefer that as it is not so easy to open.A note: the paw prints are painted, not bare aluminum. There is a little bit of overpaint around them but it's not noticeable unless you're really looking.Overall, I am very happy with the purchase but if your dog is above 14-15 lbs you may want to consider another option. Harvey fit to the neck of the urn, including the bag, with enough space to tie it off and put his hair clippings under the lid. Plus I had to open the bag to do it which I'm sure a lot of people might not be comfortable doing.
