This UCF204-12 bearing has a cast iron flange housing, four bolt holes, and a 3/4" inside diameter. This ready-to-mount unit requires four 3/8" mounting bolts (sold separately). It has chrome steel bearings and is designed for efficient operation at a wide range of speeds. The bearing has a dynamic (radial) load rating of 12.8 kN and a static (axial) load rating of 6.65 kN. The unit is secured to the shaft with set screws to prevent slippage. This bearing is most commonly used in mechanical equipment with moderate loads and shaft speeds and where the shaft and mounting surface are perpendicular to each other.
Mounted bearings combine a bearing mounted inside a housing unit. The bearing housing replaces the need for a casting or weldment to position the bearing securely for reliable operation, and its design determines the type of insert bearing. Insert bearings use rolling elements (ball, cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindled, or tapered) to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction, and to support radial and axial loads. Available in a variety of materials and mounting configurations, mounted bearings can be one- or two-piece, they can have an extended inner ring and locking device, and they can have seals and end caps that retain lubrication and protect the working parts of the bearing from environmental debris. Mounted bearings support shafts in a variety of mounting configurations (flange block, hanger, pillow block, and take-up block), and are used in a range of applications from light duty shaft guidance on conveyors to road building equipment and crushers.

Great bearing for the price! Definitely not heavy duty. I used it for a 20" hamster wheel (for chinchillas), about 8 lb cantilevered 7 inches out and the bearing collapsed in the housing, immediately. I welded the housing to the bearing and it held, there is some play now from the heat of the welds but works great for my purpose!

I can't review on the precision of this, but it worked well with my 3/4 rod. The quality is great, solid and well built. Price is awesome vs what I can find in stores, near 35$ for the same thing. Awesome buy!

Bought two for a leaf blower I made from a snowblower. They run fast and smooth which is just what I was looking for. I also like the fact that the bearings articulate in the housing because my holes don't line up exactly, lol.

Because of various obligations, It took me a while to finally mount this bearing into the system I am building- all to find out that it's not level. It's of by several degrees and it's completely useless because it wobbles on it's axis. I don't recommend this product.

As with all VXB bearings I have used, these are exceptionally well built and smooth running. All 4 I ordered work perfectly and are holding up under very high loads.

Used a pair of these as upper supports for handstand canes. One bearing was not quite square in the flange housing, but that was easy to straighten out with a couple of taps. VXB was a reliable supplier.
